Do you guys realize that the lack of proper requirements/restrictions is the reason why alot of ps3 games are pure sh*t.
Alone in the Dark. Jeez couldn't they have atleast tried to make an "enhanced" version of something that doesn't already suck.
I agree that an extra 40gb of HDD likely won't increase sales much. However an increase in HDD and a price drop next month(if the rumor is true) certainly would. And the Ps3 is in no way shape or form the better choice for a game console. The 360 has more quality games than the PS3 & Wii combined. Hell the 360 has more games with a meta score of 7.0 or higher, than there are total games in the ps3's entire library.
360
The problem with analysts predictions, and let alone former employee's, is that they don't know what each company has up their sleeve. All of them are nothing more than a talking head, with a tin foil hat, trying to make an educated guess.
The guy says "PS3 is definately beating 360 in some areas of online", then doesn't say what he believes these areas are, strange. PSN doesn't hold a candle to Live, from my experience.
TheKiller 360 is over 5mil ahead of ps3 and rising. If you would wipe Kaz Hirai's nutsack out of your eyes you would know this.
If it's not Dead Rising 2, I couldn't give a rat's a**. Dead Rising is a 2 yr old game, that I have already played.
I personally could care less about Japanese numbers.
I agree. I don't expect the 360 to ever outsell the ps3 in it's home country of Japan. Just like I don't expect the ps3 to ever outsell the 360 in it's home country of the U.S..
All of these celebrity accounts in one place.
lol yeah I'm looking forward to Castle Crashers myself.
Braid is certainly the most artistic game that I have played in my 28 years of gaming. And that's without even thinking about it's water-color art style. Like the guy mentioned the game is chock full of metaphors. Just a little hint, you aren't trying to save the princess...you are searching for "the" princess. But yeah, it's certainly an "artsy fartsy" game. I like it though, you would probably be suprised after you got a little further into it.
Wha..huh Vicktor? I can't hear you.
I don't know where you are getting your themes, but it sure as hell isn't from Xbox Live. There isn't any theme on Live over 200 pts. Also, were you aware that you can use any image from a pc, digital camera, or burned cd as your theme and it's free?
It seems to me that you are the guy with a nutsack on his face. lol
Sony said that they would be charging for items in Home the very first time they showed it. Where were you?
I can see the authors points and mostly agree. At the same time, I detest the thought of having to sit in a room with people and flail my body around like an orchestra conducter that's been doused with gasoline and set on fire, or even worse doing this alone. This is not how I want to enjoy my hobby.
I doubt MS had to pay them anything. If Square expects to make any money on any of their games in N.A. their games need to be on the 360. This MS buying out an exclusivety contract is horse sh*t as well. Not only would that be a breech of contract, we would be reading stories about Sony suing Square, and Sony PR would be having a field day on MS. There was no exclusivety contract. Square is simply taking the route they need to take to maximize their profit on what will undoubtedly be a very e...
I agree, or atleast I hope. The last direction that I want to see gaming heading is the direction the Wii is trying to take it.
TheKiller apparently you don't want trophies, voice chat, custom soundtracks and things like that to be a REQUIREMENT in ALL ps3 games. Get the point?
Also, if this guy keeps running his mouth about the people who gave him such a great opprtunity, he might not have to worry about anymore restrictions. Making a $15 2D sidescroller for a virtual arcade isn't the big leagues. He may find himself making Free pc downloads on CNET.
