They could do a 60 fps patch very easily. The reason they haven't is they plan to resell the game eventually as a "remastered" version. They didn't make all those billions handing out shit for free.
I've read there's a chance even the inevitable PS5 Pro won't be able to handle 60 fps with certain games (DD2, GTA VI etc). That's a depressing thought.
Why isn't the game getting a normal physical release like every other game? Why can we only get it from them and them alone? Too expensive as well, I don't want all that crap that comes with it, just let me buy a standard version from somewhere like Amazon.
Dead Island: "The early PC version of the zombie game swapped the playable character Purna’s Gender Wars skill with a prototype name, which shouldn’t be mentioned directly. The skill name made fun of both Purna as a character and feminists."
"Feminist Whore" lmao
They wouldn't be if they hadn't signed up to that worthless service in the first place.
Their roots don't mean anything to me, the only one of their games I've played through is Nioh. I get what you're saying though, I wouldn't put DMC or Bayonetta even remotely in the same category as a Soulslike, even though there are some similarities. Edit: Ah, I see what you mean now. Because they started with the Ninja Gaiden series before they created Nioh. I wasn't aware they made Ninja Gaiden, I never played those games back in the day.
The Tales Of series are some of the best RPGs I've ever played, and the characters are a big reason for that. I don't think I played a single game in the series that I didn't enjoy. Rest in peace.
Hell no. I'll take a traditional open-world adventure any day over a Soulslike. I used to enjoy the genre but now it's just not worth all the stress and aggravation. I was over the moon when I found out this game was more like AC and Ghost of Tsushima rather than Nioh or Wo Long. Graphically it's a little lacking (at least compared to similar titles), but I'm sure the gameplay and fun factor will more than make up for it.
This is my favourite version of Doom. It also had the best soundtrack imo. Very ambient and creepy as f***. I never liked the rock music in the PC version, then again I grew up on the PS1 version so maybe I'm biased towards it.
You can tell this game isn't made by Western devs, that's for sure.
Let's just chalk this game up as a fantastic one-off, and WB can go f******* rot in hell.
How is this a big deal? Just prioritize the quests that are time sensitive because they'll be clearly marked as such. Don't let them sit in your backlog while you do other stuff. Simple. And it won't be every quest that is like this either.
Same here, I don't know why these games get so much hate. I've thoroughly enjoyed every single one of them, with only a couple of exceptions. I wish they'd hurry up and announce Far Cry 7. The only thing I'm concerned about is the rumoured time limit.
The best thing about the PC version will be a mod that gets rid of that disgusting purple filter that happens after a certain point in the story, and never goes away. Ruined the entire atmosphere of the game.
The one thing that really annoys me about certain physical games is there is a mandatory download before you can even start playing. Hogwarts Legacy, Avatar, Starfield, Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, the newer COD titles. This is a disgusting trend that I worry will become more commonplace.
"Suyu"......clever.
Looks similar to Dragon Crystal. I used to have that back in the 90s. Tough game, I could never get very far in it.
A new Mad Max game to coincide with the upcoming film would have been awesome. I loved the first game, I'm guessing it didn't sell too well as they never bothered following it up.
Back when games had balls. Now they still have balls, but also lipstick and a dress.
Dying Light 2 was horrible. I played it at launch and it was a buggy and broken piece of shit. I didn't enjoy the game's locale either. They've released a ton of patches and updates for it though, and I'm somewhat keen to give it another chance. But the game left a horrible impression on me, especially seeing as how the first one was my favourite game last gen.
