In that case....shove this game up your f***ing ass! Honestly, is this the future of physical games on PlayStation and Xbox? A code in the box for the digital version, or "internet required to install game".
Who gives a f*** if they didn't like it or not. It sold almost 10 million copies, no reason at all not to do a sequel. Let me guess, the game wasn't "diverse" enough, that's the likely reason. It wasn't full of woke, DEI bullshit. I don't believe the reason given in the article, that they possibly didn't like it because it was competing with The Last of Us. Crock of shit.
I just picked this up for PS5. I'm going to hold off playing as long as I can though, in case they decide to add a new performance mode. I don't want to play this at 30 fps unless I absolutely have no other choice (PC isn't a choice for me). I have a dozen other games in my backlog so I'm good.
Why does Pier Solar never go on sale? It released a decade ago on PS4 and from what I can tell (via psdeals) it's never gone on sale. It's not that expensive, but it's a fair bit more than I'd be willing to pay for it tbh. I could just grab the rom, but I'd buy it if it was cheaper.
Too bad they haven't given the offline option for the console version. Hopefully it will come in the near future, I picked up the game on sale recently.
In the future, consoles won't even ship with a controller, because you can just sit back and watch the entire f***ing game play itself via the AI, with no player input whatsoever.
I'm convinced they're doing this so the physical version will eventually become a coaster, and then they'll re-release an "enhanced" version to try and force people to buy it again. They'll probably delist the original digital version as well when they do this.
A game for everyone.....except those on Xbox.
I'll save you a click: November 12
These nasty f***kers are trying to ensure the game takes up as much space as possible, so you barely have room to install anything else.
Seems like there was a mistranslation: https://www.reddit.com/r/PS...
It's only the Deluxe and Collector's editions that have the code. The regular edition will come a bit later on disc.

Just so long as it doesn't have "Internet required to install game" like Ubisoft's recent and upcoming releases.
At least Forza Horizon can be played offline, unlike this pos.

Origins was good. Really good. DAII was absolute shite, and Inquisition wasn't much better.

I hope someone buys Piranha Bytes, their future isn't looking good right now. I love their RPGs, they're janky as f***, but they have heart and soul.
I hope it's Mafia 4. And I really hope it's set during the 70s or 80s, and not a prequel of the first game as was rumoured.
And there's just as many people leeching the game on torrent sites.
