Yeah, I think that it will turn out pretty good if it was turned-based.
This will rally a lot of the fans back onto Final Fantasy.
Square focuses too much on focus groups' opinions and what the current gaming market currently likes.
They have been bad at acknowledging what players wants. Look at FF the first soldier, Stranger of the paradise, Forspoken...what the hell were they thinking making those games.

Yeah that's my point though, are they going to keep fixing issues? How has Sony bought them for their live service games experience? The whole live service aspect is nothing but a gimmick at this point. Drop now fix later.
This Bungie is not the same that made Halo. It has lots of key players like Joe Staten, Marcus Letho, Martin O'Donnell, Harold Ryan...not the same without them key players

yes, please. I often go back at look at that trailer.
It would have been great if they developed that game after the last story.

But I think that the market was changing at that time and the iphone's app store gaining popularity. Sakaguchi decided to shift focus on small titles and phones instead, not knowing that it was a futile endeavour. It was also at a period when leadership was changing at Xbox as people like Peter Moore left and were replaced by Don Matt...

FF7R was a nice compromise between turn base and action, I really liked it.
But it seems that Square Enix want to appeal to an audience that does not exist. They expect their next Final Fantasy to be the Juggernaut that was FF7...
It's not that I'm not impressed by the game, it most likely will play well but I long yearn for the things that were working well in the past. The ragtag group of misfit characters that would join you in your fight....now its all characters...

It needs to go back to turned base
Square always makes the mistake of thinking they know the market well when they are clueless.
Making the game a hack-and-slash or more action-oriented does not make it more appealing to the west.
If the game costs $100 Million, does mean you have to capture an audience that is not yours, try to introduce a combat system that changes the direction of the series.
Take From software, they know exactly what gamers expect from ...

It's not crypto nonsense. It's the next version of the Web called Web 3 and it will utilise blockchain technology.
If you are put off by the crypto bros who invested in NFTs then that cool. But this tech is the next big thing for the internet.
A lot of people(especially Jornos) have come out to bash it because they did not understand what the tech is. They said things like NFT are bad for the environment because of mining which is absolute nonsense. Those people hate...

I am disappointed that there is no social life within Hogwarts.
I wish the day was structured so that you go to class and interact with students. When you go out in the corridors at night you are stopped by the prefects and teachers.

Does not have to be Souls-borne difficulty...which is actually not difficult at all.
You cant forgo basic gameplay and design elements just to appeal to an audience.
Target audience's skill at a game is often time overleveraged to give a game a certain difficulty. They actually do not mind a challenge, I have seen the same audience beat the harder games because they wanted to see what is next.
Is about the satisfaction of combat and in Hogwarts it not fun but ...

Pausing the game means pausing the tension from the intense fights so you can take a breather...pausing defeats the point of the game. The game is not difficult at all, no I have played games that are miles harder than the Souls borne series. This game is brilliantly designed so that you need to learn the mechanics of the game to overcome it and once you do it's a cakewalk.

Games should not get easier so that the average gamer(especially Jornos) can get through them. ...

To be honest outside of the opening act of Hogwarts Legacy which was great, the rest of the game feels like a Ubisoft game just a coat of Harry Potter world.
This game has no difficulty scaling, all the enemies are pushovers easily dispatched.
The opening world is boring with the same thing that you would find in a Ubisoft game.

It was always on Xbox Favour.
The Anti competition thing was nonsense.
Phil always said that games that will be multiplatform will be on a case-by-case basis. E.g COD, Overwatch, Minecraft, ESO
Games with huge play bases will remain on their respective platform.

What has transpired is that regulators wanted to have a tussle with Big Tech and demand things from them. All that for Notoriety, "Hey look we made big tech listen to our demands, l...

Games that make you learn the ropes are satisfying. I am glad that Souldborne games are setting a great trend. But so far it is mostly Japanese games that are doing that.
Atomic Heart brings back the save point-only checkpoint which is excellent because I don't have to rely on constant checkpoints to make my life easy. I need to get good at the game and learn the mechanics to get to the next save point

I was playing Hogwarts Legacy and the difficulty is non-exi...

There is no point in calling Phil a liar if you fail to understand what he is talking about.
This was a deal in the making for years now, MS did not just snap their fingers and say that they would buy Activision just like that. They already had the plan to capture some of that 3 Billion mobile audiences.

They have had their employee work for Activision blizzard such as Mike Ybarra who is now Blizzards President and Rob Ferguson who is the executive producer of th...

If you ask me this it's strange to make this game exclusive.
FF has always been more popular on the PS and they were going to outsell Xbox 10:1, no matter what. Why spend millions securing it as an exclusive?
I think that Sony bought it to show that they had exclusives mid-way through the year. If they didn't then they only would have Forspoken and Spiderman 2 for 2023.

Fake Uproar about silly things like hairstyle is like the Ukrainian Prime Minster.
I just played Hogwart Legacy and saw a 1:1 hairstyle by Niamh Fitzgerald one of the keeper.
Are you telling me that Hogwarts Legacy is also anti-Ukraine?

The standard of gaming journalism is very low. They can view things from an impartial length instead politic needs to be there.

The aim is very annoying
I was doing on some the challenges with the multiple waves and on the hardest difficulty.
The aiming can easily mess you up. The setting need to be adjusted
