Whatever it may be the game won't sell more than a few thousand units.
Nintendo has publishing rights over Bayonetta 2.
But maybe there are shortcuts around that, like Tecmo did with Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.
Agreed, the Wii was a once on a lifetime lucky shot. They won't repeat the same scenario again and their classic IPs alone (even while being among the best) are not enough to ensure the future of the system.
Sony would be getting money for every system and game sold, so no problems here.
Is Microsoft really so dumb and blind to pull this stunt?
We'll see.
If Microsoft doesn't moves away from all the Kinect crap they are screwed.
They need new and fresh IPs (oh, and forget about Fable once and for all)
This Pachter guy... Why the hell is anyone still paying attention to him?
Microsoft has made the same mistake than Nintendo, focusing on casual crap and neglecting its first party core games.
Would MS be able to recover the lost time? We'll have to wait and see (I do hope they'll be back onto the traditional games track)
Maybe they would tease the next console but I think they were serious when talked about leting MS to move first.
They should wait and release it for the PS4/720.
Making it "gearofwarish" it's not doing something new.
I don't know if a rip off scene from Gladiator is enough to market the game.
More ingame action is needed.
Well, controller preferences matter, but the tearing on a game like this can be pretty annoying mind you.
I played the 360 demo that came with the ZOE collection and I was surprised how much better the PS3 demo feels.
360 has not vsync and tears a lot (yes, I have tried both versions)
It's a no brainer to get the PS3 version if you own the system.
I hope he would be back to make the games that made Rare great and not crappy casual games.
Casual market has moved to the tablets and phones, the WiiU failing to repeat the success of the Wii is proof of that. If console companies realize that there may be a new golden age of gaming in the coming years.
Auction is over, no one was interested on Vigil as a studio.
What we are talking now is hiring the individual employees.
Vigil's employees, not Vigil's IPs.
So no Darksiders 3, ever.
I own a 360 but right now I don't even feel it's of my property, with all those ads it looks like a rental thing instead.
Ron Gilbert has long ago lost his touch.
Sega and Platinum share the rights over the IP.
Nintendo has solely rights over the particular Bayonetta 2 game.
Even all merchandise revenues go to Sega.
