True stuff there. And clearly it wasn't just me being bias or anything. As me and my buddy were playing Street Fighter at the bar after closing up and he had no problem adapting to it. He actually looks forward to me having my Switch as he finds it great that we can just break out the game and we can get a game in right there.
And I swear that there's so many folks out here with pre-established hate and the need to downplay anything Nintendo does, but yet seem to love and embrace it the minute sony or someone else "borrows" or adopts it? Look at motion controls. Many of the same bozos hating on that were quiet when it came to a six axis use, cool with the aim controller and may even have one or two lying around to use on a peripheral that itself isn't exactly innovative itself. I could certainly c...
Nobody except trolls, fanatics to certain brands & fanboys seem to care about that though. Normal folks and true gamers don't care where the numbers come from or what they are; and are instead just enjoying the game & happy for it and these guys success. As those are great numbers for this sort of title & can hopefully gets us more than hero shooters, the tired & cliche gruff, brooding & emo anti heroes in a post apocolyptic world & rollercoaster rides full of QTE&...
Jesus dude, does the console hating & fanboy stuff ever stop? Why can't we just be happy for these guys seeing success after all the hard work, sweat & sacrifice that they put into the project? We should all be united in celebrating one of the little guys seeing success given that many in the community are always harping on the big companies giving us all the same old same old. So why not just enjoy this beautiful Masterpiece that they've given us? Heck If it wasn't for Z...
Tell that the Cliffy B. The majority of the home console Market doesn't guarantee you success man. Besides, it seems like it's doing pretty well regardless already given this news. Glad to hear it as it's a great game!
For me personally it would be PC and switch, but any combination is good. Other than to incite some kind of conflict, I don't know what purpose is headline service. Maybe people would like an Xbox and Nintendo Switch instead? Or(as redundant as I find it) just an Xbox and a PS4? As no matter which way you slice the pie, you're going to be missing out on something if you don't have all four systems. I am fine with not having every system as I don't have the time, but for thos...
That's cool man. We all have our opinions in the rights to them. I mean, that's how I felt about the last of us. I feel that it's one of the most overrated games in existence, yet people was acting like it's their Citizen Kane or something. And I have a buddy who absolutely despises Horizon even though he went all the way through it. The fact that we have so much variety that we can scoff at and maybe just not enjoy a universally acclaimed game like Zelda and still find other...
I think that's one of the most intelligent comments on the subject for real. You wouldn't knock a game like Super Mario Odyssey for facial animations, it's story or any of that because that's not where they put an emphasis. When you're putting emphasis in trying to make your games of photo-realistic and such, then yeah, you should have tight facial animations, excel at looking the part and all things that go along with that.
Well honestly that's all just a bunch of hypotheticals now. Who knows if it would have failed or not with an XB1 release as we never got the chance to see. We can clearly see what did happen though. I mean before it even launched people were also hypothetically saying it would have a much better chance at success because it was releasing on PC and the supposedly "no brainer/can't ignore" larger userbase of ps4.
"Did you forget... Green blood with Mortal Kombat"
Did you not read or able to understand where I said since Mortal Kombat 2?🤔 I certainly remember the sweat or whatever that it was in Mortal Kombat 1. Just like I also remember there being full on blood and gore in Mortal Kombat 2 on the Snes. I think the green blood thing was an option for all Mortal Kombats after a while. So I don't know what that would have to do with anything,
Wow, at people have the nerve to say that Nintendo is stuck in the past LOL. Dude, they haven't had a problem with violence on their system since Mortal Kombat 2 on the Snes. In fact, they've housed some of the most violent and profane games in gaming history. Manhunt 2 was more censored on the ps2 then it was the Wii. It even had motion controlled murders being acted out. And have we forgotten titles such as House of the Dead Overkill and Mad World? Clearly they've not had an iss...
Defintely have to agree with you & a few others here. Alienating and crapping on a base that helped get you to the "rockstar" status that you believed you had or were owed throughout the industry. It surely couldn't have hurt to have another substantial base to sell to, that's fot sure. Maybe he let the internet logic & mentality sway his decision? As let them tell it all you need is the one userbase as that is supposedly going to guarantee success.
Yeah pretty much. As the old saying goes...haters gonna hate. I don't get it myself. If I'm not interested in something, I just can't muster the energy or care to spend so much time and devotion trying to downplay, sway others towards or away a certain box like some shameless corporate shill or spend so much time, energy or efforr dissing or dismissing it. It's one of the most pathetic things we've ever witnessed in the gaming industry to me. No wonder the "real wo...
Pretty solid points you have there. I want to see more of the Xbox One X, but can't disagree that that will be the best way to play the majority of the games that we all do. And I certainly think they cross play is heavily understated in the gaming ommunity. Hopefully there will be a time where they are all able to play nice together and without all the politicking, lies and BS. As there's nothing but pluses to doing so.
Exactly. There was already something blowing the doors off of the ps4 and Xbox the moment they arrived. It was called the PC. That is probably the best route in my opinion. With Microsoft having the play Anywhere option (which is pretty convenient and cool), the best versions of third-party games on it and sony looking like that they're going to evenrually be streaming more and more of their games, that's all that you really need. You'll truly have access to every game at that po...
It is going to be funny to see many on the intetwebs freaking out when these "has beens" are schooling everyone and showing them how it is done when they start racking up quite a few Game of the Year awards from some of their favorite critics and their favorite industry. There's still people down playing, grindung their teeth and freaking out about Zelda getting so much love to this day. And that was 8 months ago lol.
Nah, we are good. We will keep playing on the sustem that it us on. Like how it seems certain people do when they claim to have the most amazing PC's when Forza or a beautiful game like Cuphead comes along. I have come to the conclusion that people suddenly only have these PC's when it is convenient and comes to certain arguments .
Nah, that price to play multiple games. Including 2 GOTY titles in not even it's 1st full year on the market. Something the other 2 have NEVER been able to say 😎.
Well, they have the luxury of doing so. Unlike so many other franchises that have come and gone, they've actually been able to keep many of theirs relevant. So of course there's going to be more given that and the fact that they've also been around longer than the other two. You don't think that these guys would not do that if they had the chance? Because all signs point to them doing exactly what Nintendo has been able to do if provided the opportunity.
