yes they can and they proved it, they not only delivered on all fronts but they exceeded our expectations. and if people dont agree all cool but at least give ms and 343 some credit, they didnt flop this one in anyway.
i hope its Samsung, after seeing how they have the ability with smart evolution on their tv.s were you can upgrade the processor and all that with a addon on car, that would be incredible for a console and Samsung would be like sony when the ps1 came out.
in this day and age yea we as a whole stay away form 5.5 out of 10 rated games, that is now considered trash, playable but overall a crappy game so this wreaks of total BS.

the new dash is amazing, the new features trump sony's, the dash is fast and fluent and the new browser is amazingly fast. They have truly made it into a easy to use full entertainment device, now we just need more games
i agree as well, windows 8 is windows 7 with a new touch interface startscreen and some cosmetic changes plus its faster in every way, if oyu dont like metro you can make it boot to the start screen, its much more repsonsive and that is just a RC, if they improved it further which they must have, then windows 8 is far form being a disaster. enough with the xbox live and how we pay, we pay becuase the service is better all around and even many sony fans can agree, this doesnt take away form the ps3 in any way as the ps3 offers free play and great options and the psn+ is even a greater deal overall for what you get versus what you pay, but as a network , xbox live wins hands down and we pay to keep it that way and to have the service improved as it has been since its inception. ok but i wasnt going that deep, ill agree to that obviously one day there will be a point it hits a wall(total realism) but lets not forget the article, he's saying the leap for next gen etc.. Graphics will keep improving for the next 2 decades at least, each gen for the last 2 gens we where promised much in terms of true nex gen graphics and while the improvements are moving along , we are still behind in terms of what is available with todays tech.
graphics never hit a wall and wont, to say that is totaly dumb, they can produce games that look life like with effects we cant imagine, now this cant be done on consoles as it would take a 4000 dollar system to do so but the point is , its possible to do so much more, did the gta4 hit a graphical wall with modders when they used ice and made it almost photo realistic. and here it is from ken himself when he discussed making the ps3 upgradeable through ram and other means or combining them accros networks. im sure others can find even better articles but this was just one of many where he wanted to make the ps3 have the ability to upgraded later in its life.

this is exactly what the ps3 was going to be about, i will look fo rthe article but before the ps3 hit the shelves there was a interview with Ken Kutaragi , where he was discussing on how they where looking into upgradeable consoles, what if oyu could add a new card, what if you could upgrade the ram. it never happened but i bet it will with the ps4.
if the trade in value is low then it solves the issue your discussing.
as of now new digital releases are just as pricey as retail, so i like this idea.
if the whole industry went digital they wouldnt do us any favors and pass the saving along to us on new digital content.

while graphics dont make the games much better and its all about gameplay this isnt the same arguement, you have 2 newer systems coming with greater tech which leaves the wiiu with lesser tech graphics wise and while wii proved your point, it might have not died out so fast if it had better tech.

its windows 7 with new tablet features and a extra start screan with live tiles, other then some really minor things to moan about i dont undersdtand why people dont like it, you can use it as windows 7 with out the tiles, but if you want to experience the tiles and apps you can. nothing wrong with that and overall its faster then windows 7
