i said this too months back, vita was designed for ps4 and not ps3. the vita will also be much cheaper in a year so they released it early, smart and risky move
no hopes at all, im 40, if they go this route and continue to charge for live, ps4 will be the main system of choice for me because its about gaming. If this is all a ploy from them which it possible could be then they did a genius job of doing nothing and still getting all the attention. in the end this bad press means nothing if its not true. plain and simple, if we cant play games without the system being on, they doomed themselves.

its childish to argue or worry about which system is more powerful, this gen the ps3 was but did that hurt ms, not really, 3rd party games were better on the 360 but the ps3 exclusives looked better but thats not to see the 360 exclusives looked bad and now at the end of the gen they are even, yes ms had a year start but lets be real, ms did a decent job this gen even with a lesser powerful machine.
so if the new system are pretty close in power then it really doesnt matter ...
xbox is just the Trojan horse, to think ms doesnt see the pc world changing is foolish thinking, consoles are turning into pc's, both the 360 and ps3 could be used for all your basic pc tasks, correct?? ok granted your not running office and stuff but you can browse the net, use apps and so on. now we are 1 step closer to consoles becoming pc like in more aspects and dont expect that to change, both ms and sony want to take over the living room and in the end who ever has that control win...
byt the time these new consoles become outdate, they will continue with the streaming of games through each companies service, in about 5 to 6 years form now we might not need a new console as our net connection will be fast enough to not need new systems.
the controller like this allows for games to finally be games, its the touch crap control that force them to change the game to make it playeable and those games suck other then for the few like angry birds, jet pack, basic controlled games, but this pad can allow for actual games to be made and more accepted once you give us real control and keep the screen for full viewing and using touch only for minor things just like the vita does, essentially this makes it a portable console
microsoft has cleverusername, but indy is correct and sony made many more promises that they didnt keep when it came to the ps3 but the truth is so did ms so no reason to single out sony, lets hope they both learned not to over promise and under deliver this time around.
i never had doubt the share button would strictly be tied to FB, there will be many uses for it across more platfroms then just fb
there is no interest in the wii u, not knocking it but it simply isnt there, the original wii had that, everyone was talking about, it was on all the shows and media, it had the hype behind it and i would here all the parents and kids i knew talk about it but the wii u, not a peep, if i wasnt a gamer i wouldn't even know it existed. why even bring up the vita, its a handheld and not a cosnole, 2 different arenas completly, and yes the vita isnt selling well but i think there was a plan with vita, l=it launched at the last year of the ps3 cycle so form wht we are hearing it looks like it was designed with the ps4 in mind and it will be cheaper by the time the ps4 arrives, to me its more of a trojan horse for the ps3 but as a portable console it hasd no decent games at the moment
if your doing remote play on vita and it looks bad, then switch or check your settings, it works just fine here
