That's sad.
I'm waiting for that myself. Not going to buy a system in a drought that cannot even do what my PS3 can.
I agree with this, but only so far. Cause many game "journalist" try to eventually leave publications to work for some game company here or there, and usually it's in PR. So while many CEO's are from package companies, not all PR is from package companies. Chris Slate of Ultra Gameplayers and That McDonald guy working for Halo came from a videogame magazines- not packaged product.
Yeah, they need to work on their level design and controls a bit more.
So if you have a save for TLOU from PS3 on PS+ cloud, can the PS4 version read it so that you can play the game right away on New Game +, or do you have to play it all over again to get New Game+?
You are in luck. I will warn you though, the first couple of hours are very boring and not that impressive. Stick with it though, because it will get better and you'll see why it is regarded so highly.
Sure they are. And I'm sure that choosing Atlantis as the place to build these factories was a smart decision, cause then you can use the flying pigs to ship these "highly original games" to the world.
I never got Powerstone, as in I never understood how this game isn't on X-box or PS. We have systems that you can connect 4 controllers to wirelessly, AND we have online play available. How is this game not on the consoles, at least digitally, in this day and age?
Lets not forget how they butchered the damn story that came before that monstrosity.
Sounds a lot like Resident Evil 4- the game that ruined Survivor Horror and birthed RE5&6.
It'll probably be a good game worth getting, but it won't be much of a survivor horror game. I'd be happy for it to come out and prove me wrong though in the positive sense.
@below - Why is it that everyone always spouts the same propaganda about backwards compatibility?
According to Jack Tretton himself in an interview in the early days of PS3, having backwards compatibility only added PENNIES to the price of the PS3 system. They got rid of backwards compatibility because PS3 couldn't compete with PS2! No one wanted to buy the crap that was offered to PS3 at the beginning of it's life for the outrageous price of $60 when you had great/be...
@Farsendor1 I forgot about it after that horrible third title.
Dorito Pope reminded me that it'll be Good Friday soon. Time to stock up on Doritos and Dew and remember how Xbone got crucified and rose up again in 3 days for our gaming sins.
Humans don't do well in the corporate world. This endorsement is probably going to get Phil canned for a bean counter instead.
..some of the time
I hope this happens to him:
https://www.youtube.com/wat...
but most likely he is going to Club Fed.
Yeah, somethings going on because the PS4 pics look like something from a book. It's not a bad look but it's strange when you then go look at the PS3 pics.
Many people missed out due to owning another system. If they have a PS4 already it's a chance to play the game without spending moeny to pick up a PS3 just to play it.
I never thought the social aspects and camera on PS4 would amount to anything, but I think the neatest thing to come out of this is all the tv shows made by people with the PS4 and camera. To restrict it is going to kill it and what makes it great. Less pc reporting, more freedom and letting the feature be.
The internet, and the new generation, are to thank for that. Fanboys weren't like that back int he day. That and this economy sucks. Stuff is one of the few things that make people feel better and that they can hold over someone.
