If you remember when 343 Studios were formed, they gave them Halo Anniversary to work on as a project game before leading right into Halo 4. Black Tusk Studios is going through its first steps so giving them Gears Of War is a great start and good practise.
They wont disappoint because Gears will have to prove a point to show off there talent to the rest of the world. If/When they succeed then they will be granting bigger tasks. Same happen with Retro for Nintendo.
I don't understand how you can turn this into a negative. Gears of War 4 (Xbox 2nd biggest franchise) will be making a return on there next gen system. On top of that they have more new IPs on the way.
Sonys releasing Imfamous Second Son and plans for a future Uncharted 4 game (All stable franchises like Gears) While MS are bringing us Titanfall and many others.

Not sure about you guys but the backgrounds are lacking a lot of detail and textures. They look very plain and everything looks flat. The characters models are alright but this doesn't impress me. Have to wait and see the final product.
Game looks the same and both games aren't locked at 60 frames. To me the PC version would still be a better buy, because you are able to get to get a steady 60fps and even run it higher then 1080p for less then $20. Both games look great with the newer effects.
Doesn't come to Xbox then ill get it on PC and probably with a higher frame rate.
For all the idiots out there. No one buys a next gen system and doesn't have it hooked to the net or pay for PS+ or XBL. If you do then its probably because you don't have a choice. Most people pay for Live and PS+ so Skyrim regardless if its behind a paywall is free to play to everyone on next gen systems.
This is great news for the Xbox fan base. Gears is as big as God of War is for Playstation. This gives MS console another great exclusive game to play. For the haters, remember that Bungie wanted to stop making Halo games at number 3. Since then MS pushed out 5+ Halo titles all acclaimed and great in there own ways.
Don't judge the Gears franchise by there last game in Judgement. That was a prequel to a series that Epic stared losing ideas for. Just like God of Wars Asce...
Sony would be better investing there money into something more important then the Vita. Its a good piece of technology but its not what people want. This to me is them trying to force people into buying a Vita. Let it go. Work on something else.

XB1 is an inferior product in what category? From what iv heard the XB1 supplies a better camera, better head set, better online service, and a very good controller and games that aren't available on the PS4 like Forza and Killer Instinct to name ...
1080p has been around for years, since when does resolution determine if a game is next gen?
Sounds like fanboy talk to me. Wait till PC games start using 4k in a year or 2. Then i will say PS4 and XB1 are so outdated, they use a resolution that's 8 years old.
Played and finished DR3 and its by far the best DR game iv played. This 13gig patch is making me want to head back into the game. I am actually excited for it.
Games can only improve with the internet. I know whatever Capcom are doing, there making there product even better then before. These fanboys in this thread saying the game is broken or unfinished or the patch is too big, honestly who cares. The game is fine now and it will be even better after patch with new content....

Its crazy how the fanboys are on this site. Anything XB1 gets a negative review from the posters, and if this was an XB1 controller then all you would jump on it like its a failed attempt from MS making controllers. I play the PC version on Max settings @ 60 FPS with TressFXs on and it looks amazing. $60 for a game with slightly better visuals but at @ 30 FPS? No thx.
Of course this game will have no trouble to run on PS4 or XB1 (if available) its not a graphic powerhouse game for PC even for last gen. The PS3 and 360 could run this game close to the PC version except maybe the 1080p / 60 FPS.
