There isnt much difference to the eye from 900p to 1080p. Even though theres a bigger gap in pixels, its no different in trying to see the difference between 80, 000 polygons and 100, 000 polygons. Diminishing returns starts to kick in past 900p.
Dont be fooled, theres more to this patch then the resolution upgrade. Goes to show that games can change resolution after release. Good to see Killer Instinct looking better over time

Your post doesnt make sense. You mention 2 PS fragship titles with low 70s meta scores yet claiming them as good games. How about Killer Instinct 73 and D4 77? There are heaps of good games on X1 which your choosing to ignore.

Your post is just stupid. You mention the best line up of games for the PS4 which one is a PS3 game and acouple are multiplats like FF. How about you mention Titanfall which also has a 86 on X1 and why didnt you mention Knack for PS4 with a 54 meta since you went out of your way mentioning Fighters Within.

Haven't you fanboys learnt a valuable lesson by now. 1080p and graphics isn't everything. Halo has never been about graphics, its no Crysis. Look at Killzone and DriveClub and Infamous and Ryse, all outstanding games but does that mean the games are good? 343 are focusing on the gameplay elements and innovations in this collection, if they really wanted to they can just remake them completely and offer outstanding graphics but end up losing time on focusing on what makes the games fun...
Because less resolution means more processing power equalling to a better looking game. For example if Dead Rising 3 ran at 1080p it would have far less Zombies in the screen making the game less enjoyable. If Infamous ran at 720p they would have more power to add to enemy AI or more units on the screen etc. Same goes with every title. 1080p is only a small part to making the games look better. Drive Club has a better chance of killing Horizon then it does with Motorsport. What's even worse is Driveclubs best review is from PlayStation Universe with a 95/100.. the only review that's over a 9. Sony are really trying to sell this game.
Does resolution mean that much to PS gamers? How about worry if the games any good first before worrying about how many diagonal lines you can see on the screen. If you really want to play Assanins Creed Unity at 1080p+ without any broken promises then why not invest in a PC? Fanboys these days seem to live and die on 1080p yet refuss to venture into PC gaming where 4k is even an option. Trust me PC gaming pays for itself in the long run and will always offer the best multiplatform games in the world.
