It wont make a dramatic difference doesn't mean it wont make a difference. Haters just want to believe that DX12 wont benefit X1 at all. Why would MS invest so many hours or man power and dollars into DX12 if its not going to benefit there platforms.
Hideo Kojima made a game for the X1 using very old SKUs which had the Kinect 10% GPU usage and was just a cheap port. MGS5 wont be the same as the Ground Zeros demo. Expect a lot closer this time around. You will be eating your words when you see Fox Engine running on X1 this time around. and you will be crying parity because the X1 will do running MGS5 quite well.

It doesnt have to be major to be noticeable. DX12 will make a difference for X1 regardless of all your down playing. DX12 benefits multicore CPUs, its only works on Win10 devices and the X1 has both.
DC runs at 30, of course it should look better. That's a no brainer. If PC was 30 frames expect it to destroy DC.

Yeah it will. X1 has a low level API however it doesn't do what DX12 is going to offer (yet) At the moment the X1 is using a modified version of DX11 which only 1 CPU core speaks to 1 GPU core at a time. DX12 will allow the X1 to have multiple cores talk to multiple GPU cores. That's going to make a huge difference, it wont change the hardware but it will allow a lot more processing power. DX12 isn't just about being a low level API.

Because gamers care so much about hardware today, these companies don't feel the need to waste anytime on Gameplay anymore. Make the game look pretty and it will sell is the thing going around lately. Its a pity because these type of games can be amazing if visuals weren't the only thing they focused on.
All this gen iv heard is 1080p is next gen res lol 1080p is 10 years old. 4k+ is next gen.
I wouldn't say its GOTY but it was a good experience.
1 - You dont need a $1.5k PC to play this better then the PS4.
2 - The game runs at 60 not 30 with slow downs (that alone is twice the power)

They might merge the two together so whatever you own on Xbox can be played on your PC and might just merge the subscriptions so its shared between the two.
