Why not? I saw it on steam sale for $15 once and if you would've bought it then and then got the $15 DLC upgrade that's $10 less than if you would've waited and bought the $40 stand alone. Of course you're not getting all the outfits but hey.
I'm buying it. The FADC mechanic is an amazing mechanic. So I'm fine with more characters using it, even if they're just "ported" over from SFxT. If you play fighting games regularly then you'd know how significant a balance update can be.
It's definitely the kind of game everyone should play. Whether or not they ultimately like it doesn't matter cause its an EXPERIENCE every gamer should go through. But I personally loved it. My GOTY.

No that IS the point. They ARE DLC. You'd know if you actually bought the game or even paid attention to anything. The only game that didn't have DLC was the original Street Fighter 4 so you had to buy Super Street Fighter 4, but even so with 10 new characters and every character getting a new ultra move, it was still $40.
Every other Street Fighter 4 update had DLC options. AE was a $15 DLC. AE:2012 was FREE. Ultra SF4 is also a $15 update. I still have my Super Stre...
Of course you would point out the higher price point... If you ALREADY OWN the game its $15 for the DLC "Upgrade." The $40 version is for people who don't have the game or for tournament organizers who want to have a disc with all the new content already on it.

If its your first time watching EVO then I'm glad you enjoyed it. Its the best time of the year for any fighting game fan... or for anyone who likes to watch great competition. Also it being an event run by the communities of gamers and not a major company the crowd can get away with all that boo-ing lol.

The SFxT engine is based off the SF4 engine so importing characters like Elena, Hugo, Rolento and Poison isn't going to take the same time as creating brand new character models and completely new move sets.
