Sega was always a hardware and software innovator. Always overshadowed by more popular systems, they have always been at the forefront of gaming. That's the thankless task of innovation.
One has to wonder about the longevity of this game, as it would cost more than a typical server setup to keep the multiplayer running. The return on investment is going to have Microsoft pulling the plug sooner than later.
Closing in on 100 ps4 myself. My gem is 120 vita physical games. Probably 100 ps3. My genesis, snes, dreamcast, Saturn, and other odds and bits are at around 250, give or take. Most of that is my backlog. Lol.
The thing with the ps2 was that it was a cheap dvd player, as well as a game machine, so alot of sales were from that. The ps4 is pure games, and is selling more towards people playing games, which will solidify a solid base going into ps5. Great job.
That's cool. Personally, it's a waste for me to have multiple consoles for a few games. In the future, for my son, I'll probably introduce him to Nintendo. For now? Sony has the best offerings as a one stop for gaming, so I usually play Sony for modern games. I still have my old consoles from the 80s and 90s for anything else.
Looks cool, but it's a little too dark. I dont like games where you cant see where you're going. Theres atmosphere and theres too dark. Wish these guys the best!
" a true gamer buys all the consoles to experience all the exclusives", is the argument I hear all the time. Well, now it will be, " a true gamer gets all the launchers to experience the exclusives". Lol. Reap.
I just finished mass effect andromeda at over 150 hours. However, playing in my spare time has taken me about 7 months to complete. On to the next one in the backlog!
I think they are trying to temper hype and expectation. Xbone exclusives come under heavy scrutiny when hyped, and they probably know this is a mediocre offering. Not saying it wont be fun, but it is definately lower tier of a AAA title and first party release.
