I pretty much figured that. Everytime I go somewhere that sells games, theres always girls or women asking about it. Children too. Not that it's a bad thing, but it always did seem to be marketed towards that way, as it is a large, untapped market. And beta males too.
Sadly because there aren't alot of people of color interested in making games. You cant rely on a white dude to make black characters to play. While the numbers of diverse cultures are starting to grow, it's still an uphill battle. Growing up in the 80s and 90s, I was an outcast for being into comics and video games. It was more cool to aspire to be a thug. Nowadays, I see that starting to change, but there was a generation of cultures lost.
Palidins was pretty fun, but got repetitive pretty quick. If crossplay saves games, there should be a big enough pool with PC, switch, and xbone. If ps4 gets added, cool. If not, oh well. You realize both Nintendo and Microsoft have screwed Sony in the past, which probably factors into the decision. Bad blood runs deep in japan.
Dont really see a quote stating " threat", seeing as they already have some cloud skin in the game. It would be a loss from hardware, as the subscription services aren't a super reliable source of income. People can try it on a whim and not use it ever again. If you buy hardware, you have a physical reason to invest in that system. You know what I do with netflix? I try for free and delete it after 30 days.
While single player campaigns are the bread and butter of a good story based game, it is a waste on these types of shooters. Battlefield, and cod dont need the campaign anymore. They have become unrealistic and uninspired.
