Pretty sure they just dont want to pay double liscensing for GT and drive club. Driveclub numbers are not what they want to see, so it makes buisness sense. The physicals are still in the wild and will always work. I'll pick up the dlc before August. This is one of the small reasons that I will never support an all digital, online future.
Game looks awesome, but could we please get past the fake NES stuff? At least go 16 bit, or 32 bit sprites. I had the nes. I was glad when the nes was over.
A good start. Hopefully they get some wolf team and renovation games on there. Along with the phantasy stars, rocket knight/sparkster and some other liscenced gems. Love my genesis, and will buy this immediately.
Alot of fake concern from those that have never played, or cared to play drive club. Even the gaming media should be jumping for joy, the way they treated this game. It's too bad, because it is a really fun racing game. Since the single player is not affected, I will buy the bikes dlc.
Actually, it depends on the devs. Good devs can make a great game on anything. You can have the most powerful hardware in the world, and still come up with a terrible game.
There is no context, because Sony was making profit on it from the jump. There is no real rush from Sony because it's a new emerging market, and they have been making money off it.
2 vs 2 killed it for me. Never really felt like a full match, and never really had any sense of urgency. Great concept, but execution was not fully there.
Sony has already done the stream as a service on multiple non gaming devices. But, that's the problem with being innovative, or first to the market. Everyone is resistant to it. Now, 5 years later, people are more open to the service type. Just like Sega when they were doing hardware. They were one of the most Innovative hardware manufacturers in the industry, but people are resistant to innovation.
