It's too bad they rely on licensing deals and haven't created their own creator owned i.p., because I think they could be a major force in the industry. I understand that they dont want to take a big risk early, and possibly folding though.
Really, ps1 and ps2 games that I would buy are very few, and far between. Aside from the RPGs, and platformers, and the shooters (I'm not calling them shmups, because that is a hipster douche term), theres not much to write home about during those generations.
After about 4 hours of fighting cactuses and rats, I gave up. Dont see what everyone sees in this installment, it was one of the worst of the series for me.
"Latecomer to the scene". Sorry. Switch dont count. I'm sure it will magically turn into a 9th gen console when number comparisons of the ps5 and new xbone are out for a week.
People care about the number when it's the only way they can troll people or a company they hate. Or vindicate the choice they made with their respective gaming platform of choice. I use the scores as a way to feel out a game, but will ultimately buy it and use my own judgement, if it is a game I think I will like. Over 35 years of gaming tells me more than some kid writing a politically driven review.
