I'd imagine Microsoft is just trying to offer a diverse portfolio of games in all markets they're in.
That's pretty much how I feel.
The pvp in destiny seems disappointing, but the exploration aspects and co-op with friends seems like a blast.
Racing in the night and over sprawling areas has me really pumped for this game. Not to mention it's certainly a looker.
This is the game I will get a wii-u for.
Zelda will always have a special place in my gamer heart.
Alan Wake 2....just thinking about it gets me excited.
Considering that this particular retailer barely has a 2% marketshare, 16k pre-orders 2 weeks from launch at just one retailer is pretty decent, imo.
Although...reading through some of these comments, I think some people believe this is coming from a major retailer or accounting for all total pre-orders.
I think you're overreacting there, bud. Like, by a long mile.
How would this translate to a pr nightmare?
That's stretching things.
If anything, it'll just make more people aware that destiny is coming to the xbox platforms as well.
Honestly...some of these people who write such articles get on my nerves.
I really do hope they're working on a lost odyssey 2 or a blue dragon 2. Or just something along those lines. Those two were some of my favorite games last gen.
these look really great.
hopefully, elites carry over to halo 5.
I'd definitely get a kinect 2.0 for windows, considering how extensively you can apply it to applications, but until microsoft shows me a few kinect games worth getting, I'm not investing in the x1 version, especially not at this price.
the campaign looks like a wild ride. However, I'm not so convinced on the mp- I really don't think adding a whole bunch of futuristic tech is going to bode well for the cod crowd. I still want them to go back to call of duty 4-style mp. Or at least port that game and modern warfare 2 over to the new consoles.
Same.
They better at least release some sort of halo controller this fall/winter. They'd be stupid not to.
Im picking up this bundle myself, although I wish they had done a Halo MCC bundle.
smh....some people in this world need to get a life.
Sigh...
I really wish people would stop writing stuff like this.
Just play on the console you want and get on with it. Why try to defend your purchase or make players of another platform feel inferior?
Anyways, I anticipate I'll be getting a good amount of dislikes for saying this, but whatever.
Edit: ok, I read it. Still doesn't change the way I feel about it as the overall message post the sarcasm portion is the same.
it wasn't publicized too much but in a nutshell:
everything was set and ready to go. director was chosen. had the support of Spielberg and other top producers. However, the budget analysis skyrocketed and Microsoft wanted a greater control over the project (in terms of creative process and whatnot- understandable because ms knew that game-to-movie flicks generally turned out awful so they might have wanted to stop this trend with their Halo movie) -> So, fox and un...
Or it could sway those on the fence to Xbox?
It could either way, mate. Most people out there are not like us on here. They don't pay attention to every single detail on how an exclusive became an exclusive and whatnot.
They just see a game that they may be interested in, they see the platform it's tie to, and bam, they buy the console.
This goes for any game, mind you.
Exactly.
A cousin of mine who had never played a tomb raider game in her life was wondering what all the fuss was over the upcoming tomb raider.
@Halo2ODST2
For their first full game, 343i did an excellent job with Halo 4.
Its campaign was one of the best of Halo and its mp, despite its divisive mechanics, was simply a continuation of bungie's Reach mp.
With Halo 5, I feel we'll get a really good feel for what 343i can do with the franchise as an established studio.
