I think that the majority of PS3 owners are just looking to play on-line with their friends and other people and that feature is already offered for free (which is awesome!). PS Plus might attract a core few who want the nice extra features and free games, however I think that the majority of the PS3 owners will simply not give in to this service.
I guess that's pretty cool but not really needed. I guess it could help in the dark or when you're in a rush.
Trust me. It's just a poor man's CoD. Or you could say it's a little bit of mix between the battlefield series and the cod series, but in a bad way. It's pretty decent and fun to play for a while but nothing to get upset about if you can't get it. But it does suck that the beta isn't available to everyone who pre-ordered the game which is what is supposed to happen.
Now more people will be able to enjoy the game which is always a good thing.
I recently gave my jasper model to my younger brother, so I'm looking forward to this. I was going to just buy the regular S model, but this special edition will keep me waiting until Fall.
The audience these developers are trying to find are just not there in the Xbox 360 crowd. There is a small chunk of 360 owners who would love Alan Wake, but I feel that there is more to get from PS3 owners. I'm not bashing 360 people here as I myself own one, but I'm just saying that the majority of 360 owners do not give into these sort of games.
Alan Wake really is an awesome game and I really feel bad for Remedy based on the sales. Even a PC version would have helped ...
@dangert12
Upon release, the full game will be available at retailers like any other game. However, for those who want to try the game out, Lionhead is offering the first hour or so of the game for free so they can see for themselves if it's a good game for them. This is just another alternative rather than buying the entire game, for those who want to enjoy the game in small slices.
Do you honestly not read these articles anymore and just comment here based on the title...
One of these articles again?
The one simple answer is....not at all. While not all the aspects of the game are near perfect, the game deserves the universal praise unlike some other games..... MW 2...
LOL at the disagrees.
and us. Windows 7 really is step up from the nightmare that was Vista when it launched. Anyways, they probably are literally "rolling around in money," I suspect.
I mean, really? Are you actually saying this? Lol, that last part of your comment made me rofl.
On-topic: I'm sure that EA and Dice are just ironing out some issues before they release the beta to the 360.
@N4G_24-7_user
Dude, your comment makes absolutely no sense and I don't expect it to from someone like you. I don't know what you are like in real life, but I really don't see the need for any compression or "de-valuing&quo...
I'm quite confident, with such a legendary developer on this game, that both versions will turn out pretty much the same just like the majority of the multi-plats that come out these days. They're probably not going to go all Bayonetta on us and I'm sure that they want both 360 and PS3 owners to purchase their game, so they're going to have to get both versions on equal ground in terms of quality.
true..
From the gameplay I've seen so far on the PS3, I'm not too particularly looking forward to the game. The campaign might kick ass, but the multi-player just doesn't bring anything new to the table.
They really are the same. The only difference is the slightly better precision the Move offers and the obnoxiously large glowing ball on top of the Move controller.
that's probably it. too bad that's how the world runs..
These developers are constantly blasting off on the Xbox 360 after Bayonetta. I mean, are they just trying to turn of potential Xbox 360 consumers from buying this game??
I'm glad that they're focusing on improving on the PS3 version of their game, but if they think that the 360 is so inferior, then why even develop for the platform? I'd rather see a developer make a game for a platform that they enjoy working on rather than the other way around.
I agree that hacking and piracy are plain bad for the industry, but you really didn't have to include that second sentence in your comment. It's really uncalled for and shouldn't be so violent-centered.
The things you say near the end of your comment are quite hilarious. I've played the beta and it does freeze sometimes. However, all the 360 gamers don't necessarily love shooters and the game isn't "better" than Bad Company 2. It doesn't even touch it as the two games are different. MoH is more like a CoD, however the guns in MoH have minimal to no recoil but the visuals are great.
The PS3 fanboys are seriously getting to that level now. I'm pretty sure that this thing went through some serious testing before release and I'm pretty sure that this is fake.
Amen to that.
...I remember those days. *sigh*
