this failed earlier because it was on a forums. I guess the guy decided to post it on a new website to get it approved immediately on here, huh? I seriously laugh at all the hate against microsoft on this website.

Here's to hoping that they at least put in a 20 GB HDD in there. It's complete B$ if they don't include one with the Arcade 360 S this fall.

They're talking about replacing the current Arcade 360 that isn't being replenished anymore due to the new Xbox 360 S which is $299 because that one is replacing the Elite with its 250 GB HDD. The author of the article, who did a Q&A with a M$ rep, says that a new Arcade 360 S will be coming this fall to replace the current Arcade that will be priced the same $199. I really don't think that it is "rather expensive" for the casual gamer at all. The other prices list...

I'll seriously be laughing if this thing gets approved. It isn't a news site and it's on a forums.

Of course it's going to be. The system just launched and a whole lot of people with much older 360s all are going to be want to upgrade to the Xbox 360 S. I wouldn't want to be stuck with a launch 360 from 5 years ago either.

They probably didn't win E3 2010, but they probably did win over a large audience with Kinect. I mean, it's showing on Amazon's bestseller's list for the past few days. Kinect can't be an absolute failure. I know that my daughter and wife will eat this thing up when they get their hands on it this coming winter.

I know this game will be fun...but the graphics just don't seem to have gotten any better from the first nearly at all. I loved the original Crackdown, it was a sleeper-hit, and I'm sure this one will pour out loads of content and fun for us. I just wish that the developers gave an extra layer of polish or had taken more time to create a new graphics engine for the game. These graphics don't justify the game at all.

Well, it's apparently working with some audience as it shows on Amazon.

How is this news? It's been like this with the old 360s as well...
Of course it's going to scratch and mess it up if you pick up the console while it's running. You seriously can't expect it not to.

sort of like nintendogs, but this one is beautiful to look at. the art style and the animations look just right for the audience it's trying to grab. I'm definitely picking this one up for my kids, especially my daughter. She'll love it.

it does me a good laugh when I read comments such as yours. It's just a redesign and it's Kinect, not kenetic.

5834d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

You get all that from a rumored redesign? Interesting...
Although, this new redesign looks more like a hard-core commitment rather than a slap-in-the-face to that core audience.

yeah, but, honestly, I was expecting something like this. Still, it's a great thing and I will be selling my 3 year old console as soon as they release this baby...if it's true.

5834d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

duh, it's like 5 year old tech and they couldn't change the hardware if they wanted to unless they wanted to alienate the other 40 million people who have already purchased a 360. no console is going to match the power of a high-end PC anytime soon.

but the redesign does look very sexy.

Most of us were expecting this to happen anyways, so I wouldn't have been surprised even if this was all revealed during their conference. I'm just looking forward to all of the game showings. All of this is just the icing on the cake. A slim release is nice for those who haven't bought a 360 yet and the name Kinect sounds pretty decent as well.

that would be nice since it's safer for the discs and all and a whole lot more convenient.

If this advert is true and that's what it actually looks like, then I'm in for one. I already have one but it's been freezing alot lately and it's almost 4 years old. I'd love to replace it with one with built-in wi-fi, 250 gb, and with a sleek and sexy redesign with a black color finish.

Of course this is aiming towards the casual audience for its launch. My family is always saying that my Xbox 360 always plays very bloody and violent games. However, after getting this, I hope that we can all enjoy some fun games such as this river rush game as a family. Although, the price tag of $150 is pretty steep.

that's why they call it a BETA...
If you've heard any of their podcasts or read any of their post-beta weekly updates, you'll know that they've already fixed and balanced numerous problems from the beta. It's a beta, so of course they're going to be some balancing issues pretty much in a grand scale.

The most I'd pay for something like this would be $100. Anything over, no matter how awesome the tech is, I wouldn't pay for it.
