I'm a big fan of BF3 and Uncharted. You say BF3 is over hyped...and Uncharted 3 isn't? Both games are GOTY contenders, and they have every right to be "over hyped".

Not a big deal that 1943 isn't on the disc. You'll be too busy playing BF3 anyway. It's a novelty. Yeah it was promised to be on disc, but hey, stuff happens.
I'm just excited that the game is drawing near, and that Back To Karkand is going to be free! We get dedicated servers with server browser on consoles, and continued support by one of the best developers out there.
I'm guessing you mean sales figures. MW3 might sell more, but trust me, that doesn't mean it's a better game.

I suspect that's a really strong freeze spell. Gameplay looks solid, and as you said the area looks lush...and alive! Seeing the leaves blowing around in the wind. Cannot wait for this.

You gave it a long time. I was thinking more like a few days. With no beta test...it'll be just like MW2 and BO. First week there will be server issues, people finding glitches, exploiting said glitches, matchmaking problems, and maybe even lag issues on the PS3.
I would think because it's an old engine they would have perfected it by now.
Honestly don't know what that means. I didn't play MoH. Maybe there's an option to download the characters of MoH to customize your soldier's appearance?

DICE is a really good game developer, and I never doubted the quality of the final product. BF3 is going to be an epic experience.
I don't think this is something new to the industry, and I highly doubt that EA is the only publisher that does this. It's business.
You won't give a CoD fanboy a BF game to review, and vice versa. At the end of the day, we the CONSUMERS have to make the choice for ourselves, regardless of someone else's opinion on the game/ franchise we like.
CoD was a social gimmick for me. I bought it just so I won't feel left out, and to game with friends. But I played enough BFBC2 to get new friends =).
Just play both if you like both games.
Well yeah...I meant "us" as in the gaming community. I used to like the CoD series. BF3 for me this time around.
I don't think CoD will ever have a beta. No dedicated servers to test, and the real testing will be done by us when the game is released.
In essence, we're all beta testers when we buy a CoD game.
I foresee me gaining weight when this comes out...it'll be worth it.
