Certainly one of the most annoying perks ever made. It was one of the reasons I stopped playing BO. The hit detection, or the lack of was the main reason.
Combined with a 3 bar connection 90% of the time, meant I had a really good time getting to 15th prestige.
Perfect? Considering they've been using the same bloody engine since forever, one would hope it'll be damned near perfect! But no. Should have lost points for graphics, and nothing really new to the series.
But it's CoD.
How about a serious beginners guide for all the new players. What it means for the team to spot, drop ammo, drop med kits, and revive.
Engineer is not the only class around, and some maps suit other classes. STOP shooting the same guy your team mate is shooting at! What happens when another guy comes around the corner and the both of you are reloading? I can go on and on.
I just hope that the new people learn to play the objective...soon. It gets a little ann...
I understand what you're saying, but with that mentality we'll still be using PS2, XBOX, and N64. They weren't broken, but overtime technology is suppose to get better. Software and Hardware.
This excuse about "if it aint broken don't fix it" for CoD is getting played out. Technology has gotten better, but their formula is the same. It deserves criticism.
DICE actually put some thought and love into it. 10 New weapons which will be playable on vanilla BF3, more destruction, new dog tags and the other new stuff mentioned in the article.
It's truly and expansion pack, and not just 4 new maps. They're new to me since I wasn't around for BF2. Now I can't wait for the patch. 101hrs and counting.
Since gamers are the consumers, I believe they/ we can be as critical as we want to. How else would games get patched for glitches or bugs or balance issues.
If we don't speak up, we'll be playing the same flawed game over and over again...o wait....

Talk about rehash. So they're calling it "classic maps" now. Sure why create new maps when they can sell the old ones cuz they were liked.
Should be free if anything. All these years people buying CoD made Activision billion$,and they won't give these old maps for free. lol
Well it's an honest review. The game is not perfect, but people seem to enjoy it. I think the score is fair.
Not my cup of tea atm though.
I'm a huge CoD fan...been a CoD player since CoD 2, and I would love new graphics, a new hud style, a change in the menu look, new animations...to make it short, I would like to see a new game, with the same fluid arcady movement. You telling me a new engine would make that impossible? Activision is just too cheap, and don't care about the consumers.

I honestly don't know how some games get criticized for being too similar to the prior game in the series, while others get almost perfect scores for doing so. Funny how that goes.

And Black Ops deserved 8.5 right? lol In reality that game was more of a 7.5. Bad hit detection, screen tearing, horrible sounding gun, lame cartoony graphics. Saving grace was zombies.
IGN rates allot of games 8.5. If they don't want to give it a bad score and if the game is not that good.

Trolling you say? I have the game in my machine now, having played it to lvl 80. My experience was a disappointing one. Adding new modes and whatever meaningless additions did not save this game for me. I was a diehard CoD fanboy, but this polished up turd disappointed me.
If the only game you look forward to all year is CoD, then you will enjoy this game.
So is there a reason this site has to approve everyone and their mother's review? Nobody reads MW3 reviews anymore! If the review gets above an 8, no one cares, if it gets below you see people commenting about a fair score.
Please stop approving reviews for MW3...they're getting lame now.
