Oof. That was pretty bad. PS5's event was mostly indie games and they not only showed actual gameplay but looked way more interesting than Xbox's FIRST PARTY line up. That's pretty embarassing.
This game is indeed horrible.
That's not what zero means. There is no objective definition for a zero rating. A rating is whatever the reviewer wants it to be.
Awesome. Sony will have the most interesting console next gen. Can't wait!
Imagine hyping your next gen console by saying you can play the most old games haha thank god Sony is here to usher us into the true next gen experience
The user scores are meaningless on Metacritic. No one with a brain actually cares about that.
TLOU2 performed WAY better than Ghost of Tsushima in both reviews and sales.
I'm loving Ghost though. I feel so lucky to go right from the masterpiece TLOU2 into Ghost of Tsushima. Sony really has the best games.
Ironically, you're the only one spreading fake outrage here.
I can already play the definitive version of Xbox exclusives on my PC. Come on Microsoft, give me a reason to buy your console. This gen was terrible, turn it around please. I don't want Microsoft games to be trash, they just usually are. I'm hoping for the best here.
There's never been an open world samurai game but it's treading familiar ground? Lmao
Did they give smash Brothers a 7 because its treading familiar ground? What about Gears 5? How about COD or Assassin's Creed Odyssey?
Let's see how they rate Cyberpunk because its just a first person shooter rpg which has been done 100 times before.
But but but Sony is the only company that censors games+!!!111!
It's releasing too late to be a contender for this year. It'll have to beat out whatever is coming out in 2021. That gives it a better chance of winning since it won't have to go up against TLOU 2, FF7R, Animal Crossing, etc.
Which recent AAA game tackled the samurai genre at the scale of Ghost of Tsushima?
The answer is none. But reviewers still scored it low because it "did nothing new."
Let's hope their bias don't leak out whole reviewing cyberpunk.
Exactly but that's their point. Some reviewers were giving Ghost of Tsushima 6/10 literally because it doesn't do anything new...ya know besides being the only open world samurai game ever made.
Let's hope critics treat this game with the same harshness...but let's be real, they won't. The obsession and bias with CD Projekt Red is real.
I'll be playing the definitive version of this game on my PC. Although the game got bad reviews so I'll probably end up turning it off quickly. Too bad Nintendo ruined this franchise.
Why would they purposefully make the PC version worse? That's weird.
PC has the definitive version of all Switch games.
I know this game isn't very good but I'll try it anyway.
Nintendo has destroyed this franchise.
Could have been an all great series but instead we get mediocre releases for years on end.
So Polygon takes points off for "doing nothing new"
Yet they don't apply this to Pokemon, Smash Bros, Forza, Gears, etc. which are literally the same games over and over for years.
It's just so obvious to see where a reviewer's bias lies.
It's not even close. Sony's showcase was mostly indie/smaller studios and it still blew Xbox's FIRST PARTY line up out of the water. Xbox's gaming division is a joke.
