Naughty Dog has stated, multiple times, Activision owns crash bandicoot and there will not be another game.
It's not possible for Sony to just whip up whatever classic games they want as there is a lot of legalities involved.

What you're missing tho, is the people who didn't pay for the dlc are still getting access to the new weapons and gear. So not being able to do a strike for just one week does not outweigh the multitude of new guns and gear that EVERYONE gets, dlc bought or not. But the haters/click bait articles won't mention all of that free stuff that even the non dlc users get right now.

Didn't grand theft auto v break the record last year? It was some crazy number spent on that game alone. It literally broke a record. I don't remember hearing any mentions of destiny breaking records.

You're comparing one game that costs over a hundred dollars each year plus an initial purchase to play to a $60 game.
The game was too easy. I can't believe people complain that it got harder or that legendaries are hard to find.
