Nah. Spending $50 more for the better graphics and exclusives is definitely worth it.
Not to mention the ps4 is $329 at Walmart right now. Who in their right mind would pay more money for the less powerful machine?
Exactly. People would prefer an open world sandbox with a crappy story than an amazing "linear" game.
For some reason people go bananas over open world. I understand they can be fun, but they can also be lame (as a lot of them are). Linear games are not automatically bad as most people seem to think.
Or Bloodborne. Or The Order 1886. Or Uncharted 4. Or Kingdom Hearts 3 (there are plenty more).
I may be misunderstanding your comment, but there have been other FF's where Cid is an NPC. So I'd say it does matter.
The only people who seem to dislike Driveclub are the ones who have never played it.
They just know of the launch debacle from reading on the internet and assume the game sucked.
It's actually a great racing game. Very fun and great looking, too.
@sharp
Calling a girl sexy is not what causes gamergate. People like you getting upset that a man, who is attracted to women, called a woman sexy is what causes gamergate.
Men like sexy women. Pretty simple and nothing wrong there.
Why would a sexy car mechanic let you down?
The feel is so similar to VII and VIII I find it strange that some people aren't getting "the vibe."
XIII was the first FF that didn't feel like it was a final fantasy. I mean...The summons were transformers for Christ's sake.
I'm so excited they went back to actual FF elements and feel with this one.
The 10 year plan was ALWAYS including sequels to the game so...seems you were misinformed there. Also, your old exotics aren't worthless at all...I think you may be misunderstanding the new system. There's a lot of information online if you're confused. I've already leveled up a wide array of exotics and brought them into the new endgame with me. It's easy to do.
Kinda hard to tell someone else what they should think of the game. If he thinks it's fantastic, then it is to him. I know this to be true because I am the furthest thing from a Bungie fanboy...couldn't give 2 shits about Bungie...and I love this game. I've had so much fun playing with friends and family...I can't remember the last time I put this much effort and focus into a game with my peers.
Sorry you don't like it, but there are people who think it...
Some are. Some are skinny. There's all types of people.
Another example of someone hating this game because they can't understand RPG elements.
This is the problem right here.
Why are you so pissed?
Have you never played an RPG before?
In many video games, since the 80's, you progress and come across new and better gear. Guess what? You put in the new and improved gear instead of using the old gear.
It baffles me how much hate destiny receives for having simple RPG mechanics.
I think what happened here is people who have only ever played halo, ca...
Weird because the article makes no sense.
He's telling people there is "literally" no reason to replay uncharted.
So either he doesn't know the meaning of "literally," doesn't understand that enjoyment of video games is subjective, or is a troll.
The first two options are quite absurd so it would be safe to say he's trolling (or I guess, just not that smart).
Very interesting that those two things made you go from passing on the game to day one buy.
Especially because even with those two things added, you'll still basically be experiencing the same game as the version you were going to pass on.
I don't mean any of this to be negative. I just found it very interesting.
Headline: NO DLC
article: there will be dlc
Dafuq?
Ummm, do you have any idea what this game is about?
It's literally an endless grind of collecting resources to reach the center of the universe.
Broke sales records. Millions of people log in to play each day. Hardly a disappointment.
