Splinter Cell, and Last of Us will probably be at the end of 2013 not in the first 2 quarters... I'm almost positive of this.
But yea from Sept of this year till May of Next year is going to be great for gaming.
Plus end of the year 2013 looks good... Splinter Cell, Last of Us, WatchDogs, and Beyond 2 souls.
My tips... Pay attention, use your head, change up your plan of action, always play games on the hardest setting possible right away, talk to others playing game, play online with real people, I hardly ever consult the interwebz for gaming "advice" but once in awhile its useful, its there if you need. As a sony fan... My love for there products gets me to go out and buy things like move(highly disappointing) day one... or pick up the vita day one... or buy most of there exclusive games(uncharted, killzone, LBP, MNR, Resistance, infamous, heavy rain, etc, etc)
I enjoy a good argument with the xbox fans or nintendo fans, even PC fans... its a fun distraction from real problems, and I never fell like its anything more than a fun little discussion.

I for one am excited to see what next gen consoles will bring for all of these franchises...(except Pokemon, not my thing) Uncharted on a PS4 I cant even begin to imagine what they'd be able to do with that, considering Uncharted on the PS3 is one of the top franchises of this gen in terms of graphics... Call of Duty games are amazing on this generation of systems, imagine being in a fire fight with an entire army. AC games have huge locals, and that can only get better. Halo is a univ...
The hardest part is getting it built on shelves and sold to the masses to make more money than you spent making it in the first place.
I for one have no interest in buying something that plays the same games as my phone, and tablet, and Pc already play.

Yea but games like Day Z that are quote wildly popular PC games has just reached 500,000 players. If an exclusive PS3, 360, or nintendo game sold 500,000 it would be a huge failure....and even though Battlefield 3 is better on PC then consoles more people play it on consoles.
PC gaming almost died... this is fact, now it's coming back in popularity and all of a sudden consoles are going to die... well both have been around since the late 70's early 80's and both ...
this game could work on any platform... the same experience probably not but, really pretty much the same game.
Hasn't it been going downhill for years... It's not like wow all of a sudden they are crapping on the franchise... the last RE i felt was true survival horror was RE: nemesis ( i think it was 3) and really 2 was probably the best in the series.
PS3 is currently a better price that 360... well the good 360 with the 250 gig hdd... i just cant see getting one with 4 gig hdd
They earned the money, with the each DLC. I am really looking forward to Borderlands 2... I bought the first used for 20... picking up #2 day one
Seeing as The Wii U, is new and the 360 and PS3 are 6 years old it had better me more powerful...
I want to see something that clearly shows that its more powerful though.... I want to see what the can bring next year when there is Watch Dogs, Last Of us, Beyond Two Souls.
If Watch Dogs comes to Wii U, and really the tablet controller is ideal for this game, then I will be impressed.

MS has not many any money either RROD cost them a ton of money, this is fact. I am not slamming the problem, but Neither MS or Sony has made a profit off selling PS3 or 360.
I don't really think either is under much pressure to release a new console, both can easily add cloud gaming, android market games, through updates, both already offer up a ton of other content other than gaming. and even though I would say xbox because the lack of a blu-ray player, they still put out pretty amazing games on them DVDs so really not much of an issue.
I hope the next gen gives us one thing above all else, no god damn load times.....
Thing about Final Fantasy games is each one is alot different. Different worlds, different PEople, Different abilites, and ways to use your powers, leveling up changes all the time. I have liked and dislike Final fantasy games, IT's just there not really sequels If you didn't like say FF8 maybe FF9 was more for you, or FFX. Didn't care much for FF13 passed on FF13-2. But hey Maybe FF15 will become my all time favorite RPG. Never kill something that always changes things up......
