PS3 is a great console, many new ip's still coming out for it. Playstation will continue to support it for 3-5 more years, and it will look great next to my day one PS4 with Watchdogs and KZSF
Just like nobody owes MS anything.

How does the 360 launch help the XB1... So they made it to 36 countries then, this time around its 13, pretty big drop off
Not every game coming out has to port to next gen. I'd rather see them build the game from the ground up utilizing the new tech, instead of porting something, that will only look slightly better.
If they get enough content and don't over charge for the service then this will be great
It makes a lot of sense if they can continue a steady flow to stores until Black Friday, and through out the holiday, but since I order have a day one preorder, the sooner the better

Yup if it does poorly during the holiday, when there are plenty of games to help move units, then it is in trouble
How does the XB1 over heat when; it's huge, most of its air vents, and the power brick is not inside the machine... I just don't see how they could still have an overheating issue

Your cable box actually plays tv programming. The XB1 needs that cable box to use the tv features, so you get to pay for cable and pay for XBL to use the cable. Double pay
Lets put it this way... If you didn't pre order you probably won't be getting one till 2014, and you should hope early 2014, but it won't be easy to get either PS4 or XB1 for awhile if you haven't pre ordered.
They were both pretty boring to me. But at least I know when I can get my hands on my pre ordered PS4, November 15th can't come soon enough.
