If it could be done without making machines way more expensive, than that would be great.
Unfortunately everyone figured out that people are willing to pay money for digital downloads of old games, and buy HD remakes, and so on, thus the end of companies truly doing full backwards compatibility

Hi Pete, I'm going to teach you a little math.
GTA V sells 800 million dollars, whatever mobile game you are talking about makes 3-5 million a day, so let's say 4 million a day, it will take 200 days for them to make what GTA V did in one day.
And I bet that GTA will still sell copies in that time frame also.
Then they better step there "game" up cause IMO they have a lot to improve on.
So start proving it EA with your games, not your mouth pieces
High end pcs right now are probably more capable, then PS4 or XB1, but the cost of those machines are double a PS4 and XB1 combined, And what they will offer is, the exact same games, with slightly prettier graphics. So really not worth the price.
And hey the PS3 is no high end PC, TLOU, GoW3, uncharted, infamous, KILLZONE, are some of the best looking games anywhere... Consoles have different methods, than PCS, allowing both to have great looking games.
As far as the release goes its pretty even, I mean nobody that really wants an XB1 is going to go buy a PS4 just because its out a week earlier, or even because its a 100$ less, they will buy there XB1. A more powerful machine means nothing to the average consumer that that really doesn't know crap( compared to us here )
So yea it's as fair and even a console launch has ever been.

The only people saying the PS4 isn't more powerful than the XB1 is MS.
I don't know any one with a 4k tv yet... And at this time there to expensive. 4k is still gonna take some time to catch on.
No 12-18 month head start this time, and price advantage goes to Sony. It's as head to head a console launch as can be and I believe PS4 will out do XB1 in sales by about 3:1

I give it 5-6 years, and there will be new consoles again. Remember the PS360/Wii generation was the longest one
All I can say to this is WTF! MS you gotta be kidding with this, first you reduce the number of countries your launching in then reduce the features down even further... Why not just release in NA and the UK it's obvious those are the only places you care about
I'd agree with that of both consoles weren't in development for a couple of years now, and Nintendo completely squandered there year long head start I mean they haven't even hit 4 million yet.
