I had to pick this one up. As soon as I saw the preview with the Nazi being blown to pieces I even pre-ordered it. It's even cooler when I'm playing. I can blow a hole in somebody's skull with a good headshot just as I can use the grenade to make chunks.
There was 2 downloads for the game, one was the main file, and then there was a real small "unlock" file to download. So I'm guessing there will be a demo someday because of the 2nd "unlock" file.
But even without a demo Wipeout HD will melt your face off...if you have one of those TVs.

Thing is, XBOXers will defend it...so it doesn't matter. Look at some of the games XBOX owners buy...you can buy a whole system for the price of these Limited Edition games now. The only people that complain about price are the XBOXers when they complain about the PS3 price even though they have no intention of buying one and already have an XBOX that cost more overall.
If they have no pride in losing to the Xbox in America at least in Japan it has to hurt.
Sure the number difference is real small but it's the principal.

In the UK they had a Punisher game listed months ago for release on PS3. The thing that has me surprised is that it's an exclusive to PS3 because it's a major license from Marvel and that it's download only.
How a licensed property game is downloadable only on one system.
I was going to go to see the New Punisher movie in December anyway because the one with Travolta was pretty good actually too.
Maybe this comes out in December around the time the new movie does?

In theory they could blow a fat wad on any third party game and spend so much that Sony wouldn't match it because it wouldn't make sense.
Never say never on MS having exclusivity
Microsoft is not going to allow Rockstar to release any game exclusive to the PS3. Sony might even have an agreement signed in blood for exclusivity but Microsoft will pay the contract penalty on Rockstar's behalf to have it broken and throw in some extra money to boot so there will never be an exclusive for this game or any other.
They obviously are not Sony fans

...and with the rest of the money you save buy your parents a gift this year
Game companies don't automatically love anybody except for Mr. Money.
