but I played Bioshock on 360 when it came out and I was in awe. Since then I've played most of the games that have been released on both systems. So far this generation I have to say Metal Gear Solid 4 is leaps and bounds above everything else out, but also after playing this demo for Bioshock on the PS3...I don't know, maybe it's me, because it's the same game and plays basically identical, but it's just not fun anymore.
Been there done that.
So gaming goes from a console war to a bidding war.

it's poor AI and since this game is out in a couple weeks it sounds as if it is going to have bad AI.
only thing I want out of Uncharted 2 is for them to fix the screen tearing...everything else is gravy.
who wants to still play PS2 games when there is a whole new generation of games?
...on a side note, retro HD titles are an ammusing waste of money (ask Xbox Live owners) but once you have the ability to play with the better technology, only the compulsive shopper/gamer gets excited about a game released back in the days.

They tried to make a new IP and look what happened. Pathetic when you have to rely on part 2,3,4,and 5 of the old franchise just to make a game that doesn't suck.

I guess October's best horror game this year is Dead Space.
After playing Silent Hill, I suggest waiting for Dead Space or saving your money until something else.

99.9% of the sci-fi movies I watch don't look as good.
it makes way too much sense. First because it's from a PC game. Then because MS doesn't have a large number of first party games they have to fund like Sony has, so MS is free to bid for 3rd party loyalty as a first party replacement.
3rd party games are winning the console war for 360.
3rd party games have name and brand recognition.
Sony should have known PS2 was not successful because of God of War or whatever first or second party game they h...
MS now gets FFXIII in Japan and Sony gets a future exclusive game from Square...
But then right before that game comes out MS will get that one also.
Doesn't matter that it won't come out for 2 years but for now it's a Sony exclusive.
wait the extra 2 weeks and go for Resistance 2 - the FPS of the year.
