What in the world is the time frame for this game's completion?
I’m trying really hard to like this game because I think it holds a lot of promise. If they increase player inertia while strafing it would improve things a lot. My biggest concern is the “juice” sound associated with every single solitary headshot and multi-kill. It gets on the nerves. If the developers program all the hit detection & kill confirmation sound effects into the Hit Detection Effects slider in the settings menu, that would help out a lot of players.

You really think LE is better than SE? Even on steam?
The game doesn't have much allure while watching typical gameplay streams on twitch. Yeah there are "battlefield moments" if one keeps watching for like an hour but the game comes off as janky on some Assassin's Creed Valhalla stuff.
Lame article is lame. It admits there actually are a handful of truly next gen games enjoyable on next gen consoles including Microsoft Flight Simulator, The Medium, Returnal and Ratchet and Clank right now.
Scalebound looked cool but what I'm wondering is what happened with Microsoft's decision to refuse Ryse 2? Word on the street is Microsoft rejected Crytek's desire to bring Ryse 2 to Xbox because Crytek refused to agree with the quid pro quo of selling the entire IP to Microsoft!
What's going on that Microsoft is so vehement about buying an IP or else the game is not allowed on their Xbox?

Halo 2 was about graphics. It had the best graphics ever on console when it came out. It nearly destroyed Bungie as a consequce because Halo isn't really about premier graphics. It prioritizes an awesome plot, the best gameplay, and it pioneers new features. The only shooter on console that was taken seriously before Halo was Goldeneye.
Halo is not supposed to have premier graphics. Halo 1 had great graphics when it came out but if one looks into the interesting story of the game's origin they'll understand how much buy-in Bungie got from investors. Series X blades provide extra features to games like Titanfall and Halo 5 that harness extra processing power from Azure. The blades are not dedicated to the Xcloud service. Nice try throwing shade though.

They programmed that beep sound to induce a dopamine hit whether one is aware of it or not. And I slap at Halo so it goes off all the time.
I'm playing the beta currently, trying everything I can to turn down the high-frequency beep associated with every kill confirmation head shot and multikill. I try turning my Sound Effects Slider down to 1 but it's too huge a tradeoff. If 343 I. doesn't do something eventually, I'll have to pass on this game just like H5 for the exact same reason I passed on H5. I'm not into drowning in dopamine hits like so many are apparently.
Nice! A couple tips about Breath of the Wild. You can FREEZE ENEMIES using the time freeze ability. You can photograph bugs and record them in a diary so that your radar starts to blip whenever you get close to one you program it to detect for hunting purposes. Shoot arrows at as many dragons as you can to collect their scales for armor upgrades later. Same as shooting stars. You can also deflect Guardian laser beams with your shield and set grass on fire by merely drawing a fire arrow back. ...
