Cool! Indie games today obviously have 100 times the technical sophistication of the most mainstream, AAA games of 20 years ago thanks to universal upgrades of game engines. Any Indie games today with a budget Indie games are definitely something that most gamers are sleeping on lately. I am confident I am guilty of sleeping on probably hundreds of outstanding indie games just because there are plenty of outstanding AAA games that have been marketed to me in a way that generated maximum inter...
My friend played this game a lot, I guess it must be good.
It does not appear to be sponsored by Nintendo.
Woot! I'm loving Metroid Beyond. It's challenging and the boss fights are wild and the graphics as soo good. I'm trying to upgrade Samus' suit quick!
I think that critics working for magazines and editorial websites are in general too harsh when it comes to reviewing games. I know people want to spend their hard earned money on a good game and not waste it on a lame game but I still remember the time when we were kids and in terms of being easily amused, all it took was a stick or toy truck and the shit was live. Wtf happened? Now if the game doesn’t have 15 hours of content plus replayability plus a live Orchestra plus simulated physics e...
Thank you PM studios!
I remember my dad paid $80 in a department store for Banjo-Kazooie in 1997. Today in 2025 paying $80 for a game should not dissuade gamers from gaming. Buy used, or rent from gamefly, or wait until they go on sale.
I enjoyed playing GoldenEye as a kid but now I feel undercover agencies just promote a culture of lies and deception in the form of a charming bowtie and sexy sunglasses. It's like institutionalized gangster rap the way it subverts civilization.
Dang undercover agencies promoting a culture of lies and deception in the form of a charming bowtie and sexy sunglasses. The CIA, M16 and Mossad will be the end of civilization itself.
Yeet I hope my new TUF monitor arrives soon I'ma crush Metroid
Is this video game Hitman World of Assassinations allowing you to play as a virtual Hitman contracted to kill the virtual form of Marshall Mathers?
Linux is a more stable operating system than Windows. In theory gaming should be more stable on Linux if supported natively by developers like with Vulkan. Vulkan is legit.
I definitely don't agree with the advertisement. I prefer to own physical games and have been trying to figure out a way to bring back physical games to the PC market for years. Also the advertisement essentially depicts the average 90's and 2000's gamer as a crackhead which is disparaging. Now in 2025 there are many manufacturers of biodegradable plastic in order to appease the ecological crowd.
The ad is saying it is lame to own physical and that hip people just download digital games.
Looks pretty cool!
Phil, admit you were wrong by abandoning exclusive games immediately and reverse course. Everybody makes mistakes. It’s not a big deal. Reverse course immediately and get back on the exclusivity bandwagon. Outer Worlds 2 could have been and should’ve been a major exclusive. Brand identity is enmeshed with game exclusivity, not overall user experience or certain services or certain innovations, rather the protagonists fronting exclusive games. Xbox used to be Master Chief and Marcus Phoenix an...
Man Xbox is dumb for not trying to make this an exclusive.
lolololol
What were the names of like the top five talents at the original Bungie who got things done and made magic happen? Who came up with the Bungie tradition of the “pentathlon”?
Good read.
“Phil Spencer made some rather curious statements following the layoffs, notably stating that ”our platform, hardware, and game roadmap have never looked stronger.” So the company is simultaneously the most successful it's ever been, while also firing people by the thousands. Its gaming division is supposedly stronger than ever, yet it's effectively gutted many of the studios that brought it success in the first place.”
This is how a te...
