Maaan, one of my favorite FF games. I still own the physical copy but I may have to buy this version for easy Steam access
Just seeing thumbnails of it makes me want to play it again :)
Well that blows, John
I agree. Like you said I'm one of those guys who prefers Tekken over SF, and I like SF and Guilty Gear about evenly, but at the end of the day SF has the most world wide recognition. I'm more amazed at people who downplay the weight SF has in the FG Community and globally though, calling it a washed up franchise and how other fighters are now the king of fighting games now. I've heard these remarks before and it's just surprising people (fanboys?) think this.
Same here. I preordered mine a while back.
I can understand where you're coming from, especially with the art style but I mean it's been roughly seven years since a proper, numbered Street Fighter. Also gotta disagree on SF5 not having any big new mechanics. From what I've played of the betas each character has a unique 'V Trigger' that can completely change their playstyles and give their attacks new properties. Then there's also the V Skills which seem to be unique to each character. The V Skills add a bit mo...
Kojima the Japan Globetrotter
Tekken, my favorite fighting game franchise :)
I know what you mean. After playing Guilty Gear a ton, going back to Street Fighter felt very slow. I like Street Fighter just as much as Guilty Gear though and Street Fighter 5 feels much faster than SF4 especially.
Nina!
:D
I guess my opinion would be 'sort of, but not really'
I care more about the mechanics of the game over the story, but having a story that I think is interesting helps me with fleshing out that universe and the personalities of the characters. I find that cool. Again though, mechanics in a fighting game are the most important and as long as they are solid and I find characters that suit me I'm good with a story that makes zero sense or without one at all.
I have a good gaming PC and an Xbox One, but is it weird that I kinda don't want it to come to PC? Reason being is because my fiance (then girlfriend) bought an Xbox One for me this past holiday season. I told her earlier last year that I wouldn't mind getting it for Xmas because there are games I want to play on it that aren't and won't be on PS4. It's just kind of annoying when I'm about to pull the trigger on a game only to find out that it's coming to PC or the...
Can't wait to pick this up in February. Time to usher in a new era of Street Fighter. I know I wasn't the biggest fan of some of the mechanics in SFIV, and after playing the SF5 beta several times I'm happy with how this one is going.
Noticed you left DMC 2 off lol. Was it that terrible for you as well? I feel like I'm the only person on the world that actually enjoyed that one as well. The last boss was terrible and lazy though, and is memorable to me for the wrong reasons lol
Yep played all of them :)
I'd also put Folklore and Pupeteer in that list too though. Neither of those games got enough love I think
I can agree with the score. I just wasn't impressed with the title overall. I still play the multiplayer a few times a week though
Damn, hopefully I can play it at Ultra 1440/60 with two MSI 980s. I know the last Tomb Raider had great SLI support
@DarkOcelet
Now that you mention that I don't think this game will be as demanding as The Witcher 3 at 1440/60 Ultra w/ hairworks on and I was able to play it that way with my current system. I guess I should be fine as long as this game is optimizated well, and given that the last one was I have confidence that this one will be as well :)
I agree I like the PSN store on PS4 better than the stores on the other current gen systems. The overall network I feel does still need work though but it's come a ways from when I first got my PS3 back in January 2007
Building my PC was a great experience I'm really glad I did. I was nervous at first since I was afraid I'd break something but the satisfaction with building it yourself, trying to figure out the reason why it's not turning on, then finally that feeling of satisfaction when it finally turned on I felt I had just created Frankenstein's monster :) Not only that but I love tinkering with it now, adding minor upgrades here and there (not necessary for me at the momemt but it's...
Damn that's nice
Yes! I stopped playing it a couple hours ago because of the terrible SLI scaling. I'll apply this fix tomorrow and pick up where I left off :)
