Better on graphics but I wasn't impressed with benchmarks as far as CPU production but yes this is the low end version.
A Core i5 2500K is $200 and kicks a mega ton's worth of ass. AMD is gonna have to beat that price point and production to out do Intel's Sandybridge.
Will have to see when the 6 and 8 core versions hit the market.
so i'll put all my biasness aside when i say Crytek's new CryEngine 3 is pretty dam awesome to work with and looks 1000's times better than the Unreal Engine.
The CryEngine 3 allows you to make a game for 3 platforms simultaneously which was demonstrated at E3 2010 and i thought that was pretty dam cool as it allowed you to how it would look on each platform while you programmed across 3 screens.
Where as the ancient Unreal engine is just easi...

Sure is funny how console Devs have gone from bragging about Next Gen graphics to 60FPS to cover up the fact that most of their games are sub HD running @ 60FPS with no AA.

Yep i can confirm the ENB GTAIV mod is super mad awesome. I use that when i play the Modded MP online.
STALKER call of pripyat w/ the Complete mod is the only way to play the STALKER series as each game has a Complete mod. A little taxing on the GPU so if you barely make specs then try the Reloaded MOD as it improves the graphics too but with a slight lesser GPU performance hit.

RPG's are about exploration, Loot, character development with leveling up, and story progression depending on your choices.
Loot plays a major role in RPG's because you may have to give up precious items at times. Bioware's games are no longer RPG's to me. you just talk your enemies to death then do some shooting and repeat.

No they do not need a new engine. just go Youtube any of the high texture GTAIV PC mods and you will see the GTAIV engine does very well.
they just need to optimize it more which they should do this time around. The first time they had to rush the game out.
