Yep because that 1 article you happen to agree with is the only one that gets it right. Don't be an idiot fanboy. Oh wait...

The difference between PS3 and PS2 was that PS3 sold well but the manufacturing costs were so high they lost an immense amount of money early in the consoles generation. It wasn't a matter of sales, it was a matter of cost vs consumer cost. When PS3 went under constant revision to lower the cost and it started making money the sales were there to support it. PS2 didnt have the cost issue of the PS3 thus it was an incredibly successful machine for Sony both in terms of sales and profit.

I think you need to add some more exclamation points because of how intelligent they make you look.

Also your racist rant about "Japs" isn't appreciated. Grow up, your post reads like it was written by a dumb ass 10 year old.

I need to borrow your crystal ball if you already know how popular it is going to be. I need to check some stock options.

IN MY OPINION: I think the thing is going to sell like hotcakes. I love mine and since I got it my PS4 and PC's have collected dust.

Horizon is great, but Zelda is epic. To me that is the difference. I havent played Horizon lately because I have become somewhat bored with it. That, and the aim assist is a joke.

They needed to ride that train as long as possible. They lost billions on it in the beginning and essentially lost all the profit made by PS1 & 2. Once it became profitable, it wasn't going away quickly.

Great system, maybe my favorite of all time.

I wouldn't expect that kind of lifespan out of the current generation of consoles. The CPU's are too weak and they struggle too much for 1080p/60. With better and faster video cards coming for PC consoles already have a very hard time. Yes you can checkerboard, upscale and interlace all you want, but it still isn't the same as native. Close, but not the same.This is why everything multiplat I get for my gaming rigs, consoles simply already dont compare. The PS4 Pro is a good value...

Funny, I see a lot of Sony boys on here talking about how crappy streaming games is but when they talk about the Switch and say remote play is just as good on the Vita. So, which is it?

You might want to research the CPU in PS4 and X1 then.

I have 2 PS4's so I am perfectly aware of what exclusives are out there and I own. I'm just not such a blind fanboy that I don't recognize when a competitor makes an outstanding product because I happen to worship a particular piece of plastic.

@CMV38

I have 2 PS4's, if you consider rarely hitting 1080p and 30ish framerates perfect then congrats. I enjoy my PS4's, but they are far from perfect. Hell the thing didnt even come with dual band in the beginning, let alone a capable CPU.

Great system, yes. Perfect, far from it.

@DJ

My PSP3000 and my Vita both had dead pixels and take a guess at what I was told by Sony when I tried to exchange them. ITS NORMAL! Wow, sound familiar? Show me 1 video game company that has a zero dead pixel policy on their screens? Oh, that's right, you cant.

I am not saying it doesn't suck, but just because its Nintendo doesn't mean they arent doing the same thing everyone else has.

You would think Switch has an 80% fa...

Really? There were less games available at launch so the attach rate is lower? Wow, somebody must've gotten their Masters at M.I.T.

Considering there is nothing else like it on the market it has no competition. So yeah, it holds up just fine. I've been enjoying the hell out of mine. Then again, I own all the systems and dont really care who's name is on the box. Thats called being a gamer, not a fanboy.

I can tell you what I see a lot of on this site, translation...

"I have never played BoTW, I dont own a Nintendo system, I cant afford or want a Nintendo system, I love Sony, BoTW is crap, I would never buy it."

If you haven't played it then your opinion is as meaningless as someone that doesn't own a PS4 commenting on Horizon. Sorry BoTW beat your precious Horizon score. I own both and I can tell you IMO BoTW is a better game. It is be...

Oh I don't know. I bought a 2nd one in Feb because it was $229 with CoD Infinite. Fry's promo code. It made a difference for me. $229 was practically giving them away.

You would think people are hysterical in the streets over the massive amount of issues the Switch has by reading this site. You guys crack me up.Either buy one or dont, but otherwise you would be well served to just shut up, those of us enjoying it are literally laughing at your stupidity.
