Even at 720p, it would be a major upgrade from the 600p it ran on ps3 and 360
Boxer rebellion, china, please...
Not sure "completely broken" is accurate. Other than frame drops and that weird loading thing with items, it wasn't so bad. Granted the Xbox version at 60 frames is much slicker and nicer and the graphics weren't washed out looking, but ps3 version was perfectly playable pre-patch.
Lmao
No I played it on pc, and I guarantee you it was better than kinect, where I had actual "hot keys"
Edit:
I'm not trying to say it sucks, the point I'm trying to make is kinect does absolutely nothing to change the game. Nothing. There isn't one thing you can do with it in any game that can't be replicated (and done better) with actual keys
"And we know games like Forza Motorsport 5 wont be Kinect, even if the games have Kinect integration like Skyrim or Mass Effect 3, we've seen that it can be done right. "
Or...we know that kinect integration is superfluous and in no way affects games in any meaningful or productive way. I can push a button a hell of a lot faster than shouting at my screen. Mass effect and skyrim both are no better with it
The writing in mgs is so much more memorable. I've played every splinter cell but conviction, and honestly I can't remember any of the antagonists names. Mgs on the other hand, I could tell you whatever you wanted to know about the story. So, there's that
Screw remakes of 7, 8 & 9. Those were great, but I've already played and beat them all. I'd rather square's next three big games not be something I've already played. I've played 8 so many times, I'd rather play whatever new 13 game they have coming out then retread that again
But in his defense, he wasn't making gears himself, he was making it for epic. I would assume they have ultimate control over which direction the game takes. Hopefully his next game does take risks and stands out from the safe "gritty shooter" box it's so firmly planted in
Bad ign. Bad, bad! Now go to your room and think about what you've done
Even so, kinect is like a cancer, soon the whole game will go into necrosis and smell like really nasty almonds
Please please please please please please viewtiful Joe collection before you stop please please please!!!!!
Love this freakin game!! Shame it's free, platinum, I'd be more than happy to give you $$$
Great job on this game!
The combat in DA 2 was a freakin joke. It went from deep and tactical in DAO to "press x to win". In a game with so many choices why do I have to mash on my basic attack for 40 hours
Edit
And the fact that I couldn't have conversations with my own party members anytime I wanted (I.e. go to someone's house to talk to them even though they're running with you in your party right now) was a major step backwards IMO
@darkzane
Yeah, less than 100 bucks is good for a customer, but as a corporation building millions of 720's and ps4's, you can imagine the cost of that. It'd be 100 * a million
Please bring back the strategic combat, and not this "mash button to win" garbage. And let me make my own guy, or at least import one if my four characters from origins.
Da2 was probably my biggest dissapointment that year as far as games go. Origins was so good, and I played it so many times. Da2 was shite
It's really sad how critcal some gamers are being without having even played it. It's not a bad game at all. Is it the best RE I've played? Hell no, not by a country mile, but it is solid and fun. And I would know that because actually playing it (as opposed to reading someone else's opinion and making an assumption from that).
@ xenomorph
Gow 3 more well designed?? The combat system in gow3 is so far from bayonetta that the light from gow3 takes 7 billion light-years to reach its surface.
I'm not knocking gow, I like that game, and its fun, but bayonetta was way more technical, and actually forced you to learn how to play it, and was far, far more rewarding. Was longer, had more weapons/options/forms, and was just overall a much more enjoyable game.
This looks soooooo bad... Day 1 buy for me.
