That's subjective though. I've always enjoyed KZ more than halo. Opinions, man...opinions...
GG needs to make a new dark forces
I personally prefer deep down.
Lol
Yeah, I quit reading right there
"I fail to catch into the Quiet concept, I fail to enjoy health regeneration, I remember Sutherland from early dubs, which were quite bad, not a fan of Hollywood cinematics, not a fan of Peacewalker story itself, dislike the face scanning and mocap technologies being used all over the place. "
Dude, you need a new hobby. Gaming sounds like it's not for you anymore. Just an observation. I'm a HUGE metal gear fan, and frankly, Kojima can rewrite whatever he want...
Yeah, for real. I almost never use it.
I agree. Play what you like man. A lot of my favorites got average reviews at best. Just goes to show you that other peoples opinions are just that....opinions.
Exactly. Hdtv's didn't have the market penetration that they do now, just as uhd is on the horizon now. 1080p will look kinda blurry when stretched to 4k, and 720p will lol WAY worse
It doesn't "fill" the pixels, it stretches them. 720p upscaled to 1080p is blurrier than native 720 on a native 720 screen.
3-4 hrs of laser focused awesomeness is better than a bunch of filler. If ryse can keep up the awesomeness for that long, it'd be doing better than some games in the genre
Yeah it sucks that launch games are the only games ever released, right?
I agree. I'm glad this will be available at launch instead of another generic fps
Well, when you launch a 60fps multiplayer shooter across 6 platforms, be sure to come back here and comment so we know how smooth it went. Thanks
Looks like Bruce lee in game of death
For real, right? I've played (and thoroughly enjoyed) many many many games that ran way less fps.
No one seems to understand this simple point. Regardless of any platforms strengths or deficiencies, the will find ways to optimize their code on both systems. Launch games are launch games.
Maybe, only time will tell. But in the grand scheme of things, dropping 10 frames to 50 isn't all that bad to me. I didn't buy call of duty this year, but with the ground work that has been laid I'm confident that the next one will be a bit more optimized
Not only is it a launch game, but is a port. I'm sure the next cod, next November will be quite a bit more solid
Graphics are amazing, great job crytek! The combat is a little on the simple side (I like combat a lot more in depth, i.e. DMC 3, Bayonetta) but it was fun. The sheer awe of the graphics go a long way in forgiving the combat. The only gripe I have with the game is lack of enemy variety. There's only a handful of different enemy character models. But if that's the only gripe, then that's saying a lot. Bring on the sequel!
