Nice, another thing that puts ps4 ahead.
I mean, they're definitely similar. But it's not like live action isn't ever used. That being said, it's usually sony that employs live action for advertising. And also, let's NOT look at the launch ads for the ps360 because both were weird as hell lol.
Well, I've gotta give to crytek, they didn't coat the turd all that much. Which makes me have some respect for them. They explained exactly why it was going to be 30. I was expecting it entirely to be "30 frames feels more cinematic" and there was only a little bit of that. I don't know what people were expecting them to say, it's 30fps because the xbone can't handle those graphics at higher than 30, that's it. I knew it wasn't going to be more than 30fps...
Sony could include with the PS4 a $500 transformation kit that allows your ps4 to function as an expensive remote control helicopter. Just because the PS4 is now worth $900 doesn't mean that people are willing to spend $900 on it. Does anyone remember the early PS3? THey had the same mentality as Microsoft right now, and the ps3 included a ton of extra features that weren't necessary . And if they would have just skipped that part and launched the ps4 for $500, they would have trounc...
Because this doesn't happen with literally every console?
Idk man. I had 3 nvidia cards before switching to amd, and I don't know what nvidia will have to do to win me back. Their cards are just Better.
This thing is a mega beast. From what its looking like, the 780ti is gonna be in between the power of the titan and 780, is weaker than this, and probably more expensive (the usual nvidia tactic of relying on reputation alone. Well if nvidia keeps doing this crap, people are going to stop buying there cards. And is for your hairfan comment, just don't buy it right away. When a card like this launches for such a low price relative to its competition, prices for a lot of cards will be unsta...
The original PS3 is still the best version though.
I can't see them going from running it at 720p and then boosting all the way to 1080p. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
Or, it will be running at 720p the 360 will be at 700p. And along with that it will have 60fps as opposed to 30, better physics, AI, texture, lighting, etc. Res and framerate aren't the only two things that go into how good a game looks.
Super enthusiasts with $1000 to spare. Thats whose gonna get it. Id hardly call that a game changer.
Adding a frame buffer and locking framerate is already in wide use. That doesn't sound like new tech to me. Maybe I'm misreading though. Oh yeah, and limiting fire rate and adding buffers does create input lag. Like a lot. On then other side of that. I don't think gsync will Revolutionize anything. It requires a new nvidia card, and a new monitor. Stuff like that generally isn't embraced by the consumer.
Killzone is one of the most fun shooters out there. That's what it is. It's also stunning, and has tended to have very good campaigns. I have a lot of faith in that game. And you can't say much bad about deep down at this point.
All 4 look amazing. Ryse might have a little more realistic structure, but I can't get over the glistening of people's eyes in KZ, and other parts of there face. Then deep down does everything well.
Of course that's what they're saying, they're bitter about not being in this gen, it's that simple. Even though we all know that PC was capable of better graphics than console was when the ps3 came out as well.
You don't get the point of why it's funny. They're playing up this god dang dog so much about how emotional it is, so you just know that it's going to die. That's the joke behind it. And I really hope it doesn't die because it would actually be a surprise at this point.
It's like they're trying to be arrogant sounding about being unclear and confusing.
I imagine it will probably come one year after the the xbone version.
I'd agree with the list, not the order. TLOU and RDR would be numbers one and 2 for me (I'm biased since those are the only two zombie games I've ever liked). I do understand why they didn't put TLOU at number 1 though. It's a masterpiece as a game, but it's not necessarily the best zombie game.
Wait, is the order really 1920x800? I thought that was a typo because I've never seen that res before. We also can't say if it's the best looking game yet considering we've only seen prerendered footage.
