So you like the less powerful one automatically? That makes no sense. All those games in 1080p are relatively easy to run as well. X1 will be 900p and ps4 will be 1080p. That's my guess. If x1 didn't have kinect in every Package, they would have been able to make it stronger, but instead they are trying to push an accesory that no one cares about. On top of that, it hogs 10% of the system's power, which could be used for better framerates, details, etc.
I'm not saying a review, I'm saying we get almost no info about it at all.
The argument that 720p and 1080p isn't very different is so false. twice as many pixels isn't small... and most people (even graphics freaks) want innovative gameplay. But that argument can't be made if talking about two versions of then same game. The x1 version isnt more innovative because it's in 720p.
Anyone notice how there's no statement about cod on x1? I'm not saying this will happen, but there could easily be the same issues on both systems. Statements about 3rd parties are oddly missing on the x1 side.
Why this article is stupid.
1) We've hardly seen either UI in action, all we've seen from the xbox one's are powerpoints basically. You can't say you'll like this UI because you like Windows 8.
2)Exclusives are all opinion based. Very few people are interested in the games you listed (exception of Titanfall and halo). And I'll just play titanfall with better performane on my PC(yes I know windows was made by MS)
3) What we know about the contr...
"While 32mb may not be enough to use msaa to its fullest, with a smart memory management strategy it is possibly to deal with." That sounds like it took a lot of hat tricks to make it usable, aka hard to use.
It's because it can't supply enough bandwidth to do MSAA at higher than 720p well, so everything needs to be a downgraded resolution. Even crytek says it's hard to use. And I'd take their word for it, considering them and dice are the best programmers in the business.
Well, I feel like that's obvious.
I mean, why wouldn't you want to spend more for less?
Just milk the series even more. Let it die with zero dignity.
I can only hope. I guess I don't remember Sony's clock ever being officially announced, and I just assumed everyone knew what was right. But now seeing this, I really hope that the CPU is clocked higher.
If you don't pick it up for a few days, they'll probably call you to remind you. But you could probably get an extension if you had to. I know they wait at least a week.
Uncharted 4 will happen at some point. And I honestly hope the last of us 2 doesn't. That was a great stand alone game, and I feel like the story couldn't be as good in the same universe. The only chance at a similarly compelling story would be Joel and Tommy when during the beginning of the outbreak.
Of course he did, you know he'll get some idiots with that BS.
I would laugh so hard if the clocked the CPU on megahz higher than the xbox one's
Everyone does that, and saying that doesn't make me want to get an xbox one any more than I already do.
@joeorc, I agree with you completely. And the amazing thing is, Shuhei said they aren't counting any games that is on another platform (ie ps3), where ms just looks at console exclusivity. If I really need titanfall that bad, I'll get it on PC, and it might be cheaper, and it WILL have better graphics.
It's not photo realistic, but it's damn close.
to summarize, this is the best they could do with what they had.
Welp, looks like what I was saying about cod suffering from framerate issues on x1 was right...
