Sony owns the trademark, from couldn't even if they wanted to.
Dark souls is mechanocally better, but I like demon's souls atmosphere more.
In the game play I watched most screens weren't that long.not overly concerned by this
I want to watch, but I shouldn't... more surprises that way.
Bloodborne is coming out in 4 days, dark souls 2.5 soon after that. My interest in this game is dwindling.

People who have played is say there isn't a blighttown like area frameratewise.
So a hack and slash game is immediately boring? Good to see you're open minded. This game is very strategic, you actually have to think while playing.
They haven't shown gameplay like this up until this point. I remember most of the gameplay videos I watched from dark souls was of people playing it that weren't actually good at the game. Most of the bloodborne gameplay I've seen is really skilled players playing it. I can tell this guy isn't very good though because he sucked at dodging, and I don't think I saw him fire his gun once.

Demon's souls evokes some feeling in me that neither of the dark souls games were able to. Dark souls' 1 atmosphere was great, but demon's souls was just so amazing. Here's to hoping that bloodborne will be better than demon's souls!
The only thing that makes me less hyped is that it's the same week I get back from spring break lol. Seriously though, I'm so hyped for this game already. Every reservation I had has been dispelled from news this week.
@breakpad. Based on what I'm seeing, i think there are going to be 40 or so weapons. While looking at a lot of them, I noticed that the majority seemed to be strengrh based, which ignores to other stats that can be scaled to. Plus if vitality builds are still a thing, and there are non scaling weapons potentially.
Hopefully this game starts offering demon's souls level challenges again.
@rippin. They probably did more than that over December and November. regardless, the ps4 is right next to 50% market share now, and I expect to see it reach that within the next few months.
This is disappointing though if accurate. I'm not saying there needs to be as many as the souls series because the weapons in this game are a lot more detailed, but I was hoping for at least 30 melee weapons.
If there are less than 20 weapons, I will be very disappointed. I'll still like the game a lot, it could still be my favorite in the series, who knows. But one awesome thing about the souls series was the crazy number of weapons there were. I mean, Dark souls 2 had 25 CLASSES of weapons.
And, as of now, they aren't going to.
If this game were as hard as Demon's souls, I would be so happy.
The person playing just sucked. I beat him by myself on my second try. He really wasn't hard.
