The problem is that MS's line-up is not varied. This month alone I am getting three exclusives Atelier Sophie, Odin Sphere and Star Ocean. The number and most importantly the variety just isn't there.
I'm really looking forward to this game. I really enjoyed the first game it had such a unique story. And Platinum is my favorite action game studio. So more great story plus Platinum gameplay should be a huge win for me.
This is one thing I don't understand, the whole "oh it won't be out this year" thing. I like having something to look forward too. It's great to hear what games your favorite studios are working on. I'd way rather know than just have rumors and speculation.

I am almost certain they are going to change the Mass Effect formula. Especially given the fact they are switching to Frostbite instead of just updating the original Mass Effect dev kit. What are you talking about? EA owns Bioware so it's not like Bioware needs help with publishing. And on top of that EA's gaming revenue is way higher than Microsofts gaming revenue.

Dev kits don't really matter as long as the standard is the same. As long as they haven't started heavy production they can change anything they want as long as it's built to the same standard. At worst the first round of games that come out might not push the hardware to the limit.
