I hope they announce the western release sooner rather than later.
I feel like this article is filled with a lot of conjecture that may or may not be true. But I fully agree that Vivendi buying Ubi would be bad for the industry. And in regards to Ubisoft I find this whole recent hatred of the company to be horribly misplaced. Unfortunately people seem to think Ubisoft only makes Assassin's Creed. But the truth is Ubisoft has published a ton of games many of which were highly innovative and wouldn't have seen the light of day otherwise. While EA ...
It's the same as if I buy a bunch of games on bulk or sale and resell them on eBay or Amazon. The developers are not going to get paid for my sale directly. But they still got paid at some point.
Edited to add: The keys came from Humble Bundle. So when they sold them to Humble they got paid. Now when the keys are being resold on G2A, for whatever reason this dev thinks they should be getting paid again.
The keys were sold to someone who then resold them. The developers got money. The way this is presented is misleading. These developers are apparently wanting to double bill. They want to sell a key then get paid when it's resold.
In this case I fully support G2A. They haven't done anything wrong.
The only game Microsoft showed I actually wanted. Go figure.
It probably would do better on PS4, Microsoft gamers don't really seem to care for anything outside of military shooters and sports games and of course Halo, Gears and Forza.
Cool, i'm interested. I liked The Guild 2, hopefully the new game has a little more polish than the prior games.
This is a terrible write up.
You knock the game because you think players will reload a save if they fail an event? If the game doesn't use an auto save which it probably will, that's the players own choice and shouldn't be held against the developer.
And second as far as I can tell even if you get the meter to the top that only means all the options will be available when you get to the actual encounter. Even with 100% of the clues found ...
You misunderstand my feelings about the issue. My implication is that Microsoft cares more about money than gaming. Xbox is just a tool to gain control over the entertainment industry.
If Microsoft feels like there is profit in having a new console yearly and consumers buy it that's exactly what they will do.
I'd like to hear how you think they could do that with out a HUGE backlash from everyone from consumers to software and hardware developers across the world. I mean their certainly not going to be able to do it by releasing a few games a year. And if they just used Windows to flat out disable Steam there would be so many lawsuits it would be crazy.
Well they got people to fall for DLC and paying for online... People can be way dumber than you give them credit for.
This article is totally misleading, and it should have been marked as a duplicate since it's simply a misleading selection of quotes from the interview Phil did during E3 on Monday.
This line which is everyone seems to be basing there evaluation of Windows games going to Steam in this topic is entirely a misinterpretation by the author made to seem valid by not showing the full interview.
"So good news for PC gamers because now all the Microsoft...
You gotta press X
It seems far more likely that if they can get a foothold in PC gaming that they will charge for PC before they remove the fee on consoles.
The only thing I find ridiculous is that both sides try to say the other side said this or that when obviously both sides say the same things.
Wow. yeah patent and copyright law really needs to be reevaluated in the worst possible way. When these laws were penned the goal wasn't to stifle creativity and industry. But that's exactly what it's being used for. And whats worse it's just greed most of the time.
Great game. And a great value, you can easily get 40-50 hours of gameplay out of this. It's made by VanillaWare who made the cult hit Dragon's Crown. It has very similar gameplay only the actual story and level design is much much deeper.
If you liked Dragon's Crown you'll probably love this. Highly Recommended.
I'll wait till its out and to play it before I make any decisions about the game. The clothing the character wears really has no influence on me. I find this whole bandwagon phenomenon that keeps happening with certain games really silly.
Awesome! Pretty cheap too.
Really looking forward to Detroit, it was my personal favorite game from Sony's E3. Engrossing stories are huge draw for me in games. I love games that make me think. Plus it looks like Blade Runner which is a great movie.
I'd be happy if they would just put it on GOG. But I think there are some legal issues, so it probably won't see a sequel.
