I'd buy it for sure. There are quite a few Vita games I've wanted to play, but portable systems have no appeal for me. When I am out of my home I don't have time to play games and when I am at home I want to play on the TV.
That's because all the pc games your talking about are made to run on Windows XP 32-bit which has a 4 GB ram limit. If PC games were optimized for 64 bit they would load the whole game into ram and the performance would be improved.

Wow, this could be huge, I mean dramatically changing the way people view digital sales of goods. I find it hard to believe this can be profitable. But I really hope it is.
Yes, perhaps. But the bigger thing to note is that self publishing and smaller studios are on the rise and set to change the way game creation works on the whole.

just because something is created doesn't mean that it is good, useful, needed or wanted. Virtual Boy, failed simply because it was completely impractical.
For every good gaming innovation there have been 10 ideas that have failed because they were just bad ideas. Kinect will in my opinion fall into that category.

I actually read the article. It's not bad, makes some points and some counter points. All in all it was fair and balanced.
I bought it after watching someone else play it. I had zero intention to buy it before that but it looked really good so I gave it a go.
I have to say it's pretty solid. Having played a lot of MMO's I can say it's a way more finished product than many MMO's that have been out for years. The extra time they took developing it really shows.

I've put many hours into X games over the years. I have been keeping my eye on this one as well.
