Dynamic 1080p means that the game drops to 900p in intense sequences and then switches to 1080p in less demanding moments. Its a good solution.
Looks awesome. Just like Dragon Age Inquisition, 900p upscaled to 1080p produces virtually undistinguishable results. I was expecting Geralt's armor to show some low res artifacts, but its clear and crisp.
If a gamer feels the need to skip the cinematic of a game it means that game is not doing a great job with its narrative delivery. This was an issue with Xenogears for example.
And then you compare it to the much more well paced Xenoblade Chronicles and you can see how it should be done. If a game needs to have a long cut-scene to deliver its story, then it failed at its storytelling mechanism.
The complaint was actually about the length of the cut-scenes, which were too long and broke the pacing of the narrative. A perfectly valid complaint.
Eh no, EA was behind Sony with Battlefield 4 too. They toggle between franchises.
It also had a LoZ Easter egg.
Looks like garbage. At one point I thought I was watching some of those Japanese pop singer rpgs.
You sound like a child.
True exclusives hurt more than timed exclusives.
Poor reviewer doesn't enjoy puzzles in his adventure games. No wonder games are getting dumber.
How would showcasing exclusives would test how much resolution really matters to people?
Also gamespot didn't do the test to put the ps4 against the xbox one, they tested it on PC as well. This test had nothing to do with console wars.
Fucking idiot.
Considering the low quality assets of this demo, the resolution differences wont be so apparent.
Well its true, Nintendo has made a 2D game of this caliber in a looooong time.
The fact that it was once a psp game is clouding a lot of judgment, in reality Type-0 is bigger and more ambitious than FFXIII. And i don't remember seeing people saying that game should have been on a portable console.
Reviews of a jrpg, they will be polarized by default.
It hasn't been confirmed anything other than that it wont be at 1080p on both.
It has nothing to do with integrity, but standards change and saturation with ultra linear games is higher today than ever. Uncharted 3 could have just as much gotten the same lower scores as The Order had it released today.
That assuming reviewers are not biased towards ND and don't forgive their flaws.
The order was very similar to Uncharted 3 in terms of linearity and pointless cinematic moments where you just walk and do nothing. I can totally see where the article comes from.
Ai's play a crucial role in Titanfall. If you replace AI's with human players then the battlefield would be so cluttered free parkour would suffer greatly. Titanfall needs to give room to breath to gamers, that means a balance between human and ai players.
CD comes up with the best covers. Awesome.
