Exclusives are great but IMHO the average consumer has no idea what is a multiplat or a Exclusive!
With the success of the Kinect and its games and future games. I see sales of the 360 going up.
PS3 has a strong lineup ..but I say lets wait and see what actually really gets released. Also being that Sony doenst heavily advertise its exclusives...I dont see there 1st party games really getting Joe Average in the store buying a PS3.

Maybe at some point a DEV will put out a PS3 game that BLOWS away a game visually on the 360.
IMO that hasnt happened although fanboys would like you to think differently.
You mentioned Alan Wake. Although I didnt really like the game overall. The game looked good....very good. The lighting....etc etc...solid title visually.

I have both systems...played most if not all the major exclusives on both systems.
1. I dont see a MAJOR jump in GFX from one system to the other.
2. I have seen some multiplats that look just as awesome if not better then some exclusives.
(not gonna name any specific games as its all subjective and MY opinion)
I agree with what you had to say for sure.
But we both know that when the year is over and done with there will be more then "Gears3 and Forza4" as 360 exclusives.
The same thing happened last year. When articles started hitting talking about games for 2010.
Everyone kept saying wait for E3 wait for E3 for more games to be announced for the 360.
All in all....I wish we could get to a time when people with both or o...
Even if there was say 4 more exclusives announced for the 360.

Last I checked BOTH systems release a handful of exclusives and the rest is filled in with multiplats ...PSN games and XBL games.
And there are a ton of games that will get bumped to 2012 as well as games that will get announced at E3 and other shows.
Somehow....if I dont buy Forza 4 and Gears 3 then I and millions others will still have plenty of games to play.

Based on the comments above I wonder how many even read the article? THe reason I wonder why is because the article spoke nothing about games.
It spoke of other issues it felt MS can fix or make better.

Articles listing the exclusives for both systems. Of course the PS3 list was alot longer. BUt guess what happened.
ALOT of those games did not release in 2010 and the 360 had games that were announced later come out.
People on this site fail to realize that the millions of 360 owners do buy more games then exclusives. As do PS3 owners. ...

I like others was a HUGE Socom fan!! At a time when no other console had online with voice chat. (never got into PCs)
I remember playing Dreamcast online...I was blown away by the fact you could play against live ppl. So when Socom 1 hit...i had no idea how good it wa sgoing to be.
I hope they make the game as deep and as hardcore as possible!!!!

So glad I saw this about an update. Im watching MNF and was gonna get some BBC2 action in later on tonight.

He may indeed accomplish his goal of a better game but COD is not selling like hotcakes because its the best FPS out there.
The best is subjective depending on what type of game your going for.
IMO I like alot of aspects of BBBC 1 and 2 more then COD games...namely destructible environments.
I just got a copy myself. I had gotten BC2 new fr the PS3 when it came out. I use the fragfx mouse controller (they dont have it for the 360)
But for $14 I cant pass it up for the 360 also. It is THAT good!! Especially with MAP Pack 7 (2 new maps and 2 old BC1 maps)
And Vietnam map pack hitting in a few weeks!!!
I just got back into BC2 this week and its SOOO much more intense then other shooters. The sound...the destruction...the vehicles......

I say take your time and make sure its polished and have a beta also. So when its released there is limited issues.
The window there releasing there isnt any other big FPS as far as I know coming out. Hmm when does Killzone 3 drop.

A high rated game means it has minimal issues and doesnt miss features such as changing rims and brakes on every car (which by the way he didnt even mention)
