Summer? Honestly I haven't had as many issues as a month ago. It's more then playable in its current state.
Party chat works for me and my clan. But I do hope it gets a overhaul in the update in March.
1tb hd with out a disc drive has my interest. I already have a day one. Depending on price I would be interested in a second system.

Based on how much it cost to make games you HAVE to have KNOWN titles.
Both systems are going to have there share of known games from last gen.
If games like Titanfall, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive didnt exist then I would agree 100%.
Even on Sonys side they are releasing new IPS such as The order and Drive Club.
Then we have 3rd party like Watch DOgs and The Division.
But there are always going to be IPs...
You have hit on what not to many are discussing. The purchase was about getting the IP but like you said keeping it OFF any other non xbox platform.
Which IMO is money that had to be spent.
Imagine the press if Gears got on a sony console. Like a next gen remake of Gears 1. Or the next gears game exclusive to the PS4!!

Also its not my money or my risk. So I welcome them securing the rights to one of there biggest franchises.
Also keep in mind that most dont even pay attention to who the devs are for games. So say in 2-3 years another gears hits and is marketed AND is a good to great game. Many will buy it...myself included.

MS has shown that they just dont buy up studios just to pad there stats or whatever you want to call it.

From a PR standpoint I understand why they made the purchase. It would have had a huge impact in a negative way if this franchise in some way ended up on a PS console.
I for one never even played GeoW 3 that much. Did play 1-2. Was never a HUGE fan of the series but I understand what it means to have a flagship franchise attached to your company/console etc.

Everyone is not going to agree. But I read so much about games like cod or bf ...how most don't even play the sp.
I don't have proof but I suspect that percentage wise it's low on how many actually finish the sp on a mp heavy game.
The only time I have a problem is when mp is added to a game that started as a sp...two examples are..
Bioshock 2
Mass effect 3
Not once did I and I am sure others think...ohh I wish this game has mp!?
Certain games you expect a mp. Cod, bf come to mind.

As for titanfall. They explained why it's mp only...and I'm fine with that.

I usually take forever to best the original game so dlc I'd usually there to buy if/when I beat the game.

The problem with your ...wanting MS to slow production is....that your comparing sales for both systems.
On its own....the XBOX one seems to be selling well in the limited markets they launched in. There are big games coming down the line.
So do you really think that MS should slow production based on ..they are not selling as fast as the PS4??

I'm renting tomb raider to see the improvement over last gen. When I start playing it....as long as there are no glitches and it run smooth. I dint have the ps4 version to play and compare.
Do I wish all games ran the same sure. But I feel that if they can get more performance out of the ps4 that's great...
