I could have swore I read that there wasnt going to be a season pass ala BF.
No surprise though as the only game I buy DLC for lately has been BF3 and BF4. As I feel the premium content is worth it.
Every 3-4 months getting new maps refreshes the game. In my humble opinion.
Call of duty is what it is....if you change it. It's not call of duty anymore.

I'm so tired of people talking about ads on the 360.
There was a minimum of one advert on 3 out of the five Windows. And those small tiny boxes...only had sound of you highlighted it.
Then on top of that the ads were game related tire ins.

These articles make these comments like above. But there mostly based on the public. Public comments run the gamut. And this author is using that as fact.
In regards to the article....It's a huge game that will help sales for sure. It's one game of many over the duration of the console.
You build your library one game at a time.
It doesn't matter how many copies one game sells...it won't kill another console.

Just read the article and I feel he didn't make a compelling argument as to why he feels ms is ruining this current gen.

About reason is to build the library of current gen only games to entice last gen games to upgrade.
Why would they feel the need to upgrade if they can get the same games current gen owners are getting?

Evolve looks to be that game with a high FUN factor and encouraging team play 4 v 1 action!!

I was interested in the game but as it got closer to release and reading and watching preview videos. I decided I would pass.
Hearing about the constant loading screens. The weak story turned me off.
Plus watching videos everything honestly looked dark, bland and the same.
I enjoyed Dishonered because at least the areas you went through looked unique.
I feel this game is behind in the times based on what I am reading.

As far as review scores. They well be high. Based on so much positives from the beta and alpha...The game well get favorable reviews.
Ps. Ea/ms job is to market the game. So it can sell more units. Nothing wrong with that.
It got awards at e3 based on many hands on with the game. That is what started the hype.
It's one thing for people to see videos and get excited. But the excitement was based on actual hands on playing the game.
Not to many games can achieve that.
Them game already ships with 15 maps. Which is more then enough maps to last for many months...for me at least.
DLC is pretty much standard for strong MP games.
You say no reason it shouldnt come with ALL. That would be lets say DLC is 4 maps per pack and we get lets say 4 packs over the next year.
So you think they should release Titanfall with 31 MAPS on release day for $60???????
