Well..here we are. They are trying a different approach. Yes ai bots have been done before. But many like myself have never experienced what they are trying to do.

I feel it is to get us HYPED by saying a earlier date.
I myself look forward to the game based on what I have seen. It looks to be the type of game I want to play.
I myself am not looking for a 2014 release based on what I have read that the people (devs) who are actually making the game had to say. They basically said...no way for a 2014 release.
But UBIsoft are in the business to get people interested and sell there ...

At this point in my life. I dont want the best LOOKING game.
I want the game that has everything a racer should have. Great multiplayer with server list to drop in.
Great single player with race series with a point system so you feel like race to race really matters.
Great SIM handling with engine and handling upgrades.
....thats what I want and I havent gotten it at all with any racer. ...
I can honestly say that after what I experienced with FORZA 5 I am ready for another SIM style racing game on the MS systems.
I have owned Forza 1-3 I skipped 4 as I felt it came out to soon after #3 I was fatigued on the series. I never played Horizon but heard great things.
I really hope project cars or any other car game fulfills my needs..here are my problems with FORZA 5 and the series as a whole...

I dont feel it comes down to what you can afford it comes down to what YOU WANT.
Think about all that purchased the XB1...they obviously could afford the PS4 but they chose to get a XB1.
It comes down to preference.
Like lets say the XB1 was $400. Do you think many who currently own a PS4 would have still purchased it at $500??

I feel that even if both systems were priced closer the PS4 would still be ahead. Thats not to say that its better or one is worse.
Its just that both systems did really well last gen. And early adopters are going to get the console they prefer based on games, brand etc.
So regardless of the price your going to buy the system you want.
What I mean is....if the PS4 was priced higher...would you have gotten a XBOX...

Yeah I can tell that the design was for various reasons. That you both stated.
With the TV function..I have my xbox one on way way more then I used to have my 360/ps3 on. And that is what I feel they were trying to do.
For whatever reason I have been using the youtube app alot more then I ever did on the 360. I think it is because you can turn the app on pretty fast. Drop it in the background to do other things and go...
I remember thinking how big it was....until I got one. YES its bigger then the PS4 and the 360 but its not as big as many make it out to be.
The one thing that stands out to me. Is how QUIET the thing is.
I hadnt played my 360 in awhile and when I did....BOY oh BOY...i knew my 360 was loud. But after the XBOX one playtime...my 360 sounded even louder.

This game screams...For a need for a test range like bf4.
Using test range I was able to finally learn how to fly choppers and jets..finding the right controls.
The game was designed for smaller player counts. From the devs themselves the felt based on there testing that 6v6 with the ai in the game worked the best.
I and others should respect this decision as THEY created the game so they should no what they were trying to accomplish.
It amazes me when people blast a game they never played (not talking about you Timothy) ....for the player count. I say..play it...then see how you feel.
You can just tell that this game has sparked huge interest.
What other game has gotten so many divided???

My opinion on major game releases is....
...yes ms pulled some 360 games so they can be made on next gen. So that left the last year or two kind of weak when it comes to the 360s first party offerings.
So with this we have the Xbox one that had imo one of the strongest launch lineup games.
When we look at Sony...The seem to have done the opposite. Ps3 before the next gen had games like gt6 and tlou launch. Moe we have the ps4 with a lackluste...
