They took the same approach as they would to their home console.
Sony put out a more 'powerful' hardware than the 3DS, Just putting out sleek hardware isn't good enough. Games, games and games, you've gotta back it up with software.
I feel like they accepted defeat so easily, declaring it a companion device. An expensive one, that is.
A companion device is what it is now.
I wanted to get rid of mine. I might just keep it in case I find myself with a PS4. Also, a game I like could pop up. Till then, it'll be hibernating for long time.
With the amount of beating this horse has taken. I think we are all fully convinced that the PS4 is the most capable console out.
you'd think that the games would do the talking, instead we're being tortured with repetitive articles.
Plenty of good points, that are true. That's what happens when you've got closed platforms like console. There are also pro's just as there are cons. This article only lists the cons.
It's a cycle.
Performance related articles are posted. Clueless, bias gamers comment. Rinse and repeat.
and it's always 'gamingbolt.com'
It seems people don't want a portable home console. Even Sony has pretty much abandoned the Vita to focus on the one which is doing well, PS4. Home consoles is what they don't best. I wonder if they'll ever release another handheld again.
The only thing factual is the technical specs. Everything else is based on opinion, such as hardware design and controller.
99.9% of the time, third party games will run better on PS4, that's a given due to the slightly better spec. While all that is nice and dandy, console spec has never been a deciding factor. Personally? Sure, but to the masses? no.

This is what the author had to say regarding Titanfall.
"We moaned. We bitched. We slated it – but lets be honest. We were jealous."
ahah!
Why would I want to play Halo on PC?
The more I see Vita related news, the more I regret owning one. Damn!
You can count on "gamingbolt" to report resolution news of a game 9 months before release.
Possibly, The new COD looks interesting. I like the little bit of campaign footage at E3.. I don't plan on buying it though. Destiny, I'm still not sure about that game yet. The only shooter I'm interested in so far is Wolfenstien: The new order.
The game isn't out till February 2015.
The Halo collection is a godsend. I've played REACH (Which I loved) and ODST, but I've never been on a master chief adventure. I'll get a chance to prepare myself for Halo 5: Guardian.
There's one Launch title I still want to play. Ryse Son of Rome. Then, you have the Xbox ONE controller(Which I love) and Xbox Live. The future looks bright for Xbox ONE, and I want to be a part of it.
Sony will be fine. The games will come. Fewer or not.
Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, The Order 1886 etcetera. There are games that aren't even announced yet.
I don't care if they've got to work with third parties to deliver their games. I don't care how it's done so long as it's done.
Their focus is on their home console PS4. It's a pity, the vita has so much potential that'll never be realised. Now I wish I never got one, oh well.
I got mine..it's awesome. Now, to get another new gen console or a PC? *sigh*
so. . .A souls game with a few twists, story and name change.
You made me laugh so hard lol. I read your comment first, then saw your name and avatar. It must have been the whole combination lol.
The peak of ignorance upon the release of new generation consoles.
