When folks see numbers like 9 or 10, "omg I always knew this game would be great". *plays the games* *gets disappointed*.

PlayStation has always been the bigger brand. Nothing more, nothing less. An older brand and more of a veteran in the industry than Microsoft's Xbox
It's no shock that PS4 is doing better sales wise, it would be surprising if Xbox ONE were doing better, that'd be something to write about.
Also, who says you have to be the leading salesman to be successful?

1080p isn't a target on Xbox One.. It's already been achieved. The game was shown to IGN running at 1080p.

I don't wanna find myself wishing, oh, If only I could play Bioshock on my Xbox One. . Better Visuals and higher framerates. . better looking textures etc... on better hardware. It's a classic.
I don't own a 360, and ive never played through Halo. . oh wait, I'll be able to do that on the Xbox One soon. .
I don't like the idea of stacking consoles from previous gens.

I consider Destiny an 8th gen game, not a 7th. To me, PS3 and 360 versions don't exist.

Ninentendo is probably the only company that could survive on first-party alone.
Sony can't do that with the Vita, they need third party support which the Vita lacks. .

The BIG difference is that Nintendo has the games to turn around any system.. The same couldn't be said for Sony.
Personally, I don't want to find myself stacking up consoles 'cause certain companies refuse to do backward compatibility.. I'm strongly considering adding a gaming PC to my gaming platforms. I've yet to buy a current gen console besides WiiU.
